This adapter should work with almost all displays with an HDMI input. The USB-C need to be plugged into a port that supports display port alternate mode. Check your device’s manufacturer specifications for more details on display port alternate mode. Glad to hear that the adapter is working out great for you.

This adapter does not need any drivers, so it is completely plug and play. This is a good adapter for mirroring a tablet or smartphone to a TV as well.

Two problems: can't charge and attach to a TV at the same time, and you're at the mercy of the oddities present on the phone screen. The camera notch causes a shift in the output video on the external screen. This also happens when I cast over WiFi, so it's not really an issue with the adapter but more of the phone design. I use an LG G8. This may not be a problem with other phones, but it is with mine.
