This adapter is a good way to set up a device to mirror to a larger display. We also manufacture a direct USB-C to HDMI cable which functions similarly to this adapter, but you do not need the extra HDMI cord:

I've had really good luck with all of my j5create purchases. It exposes an issue with my audio driver, but I attribute that to the driver software, not the adapter, because it happens with other adapters as well.

Posted .Easy to use, sturdy, solid build make up the JCA153G - simply plug in the USB-C end into the DP alt-mode/Thunderbolt 3 supporting device, add an HDMI cable to the TV, monitor, projector and watch the contents appear.

Didn’t work

Cheap and works, but probably not the best.

Only annoyance is the end I plug the HDMI into isn't deep enough for the HDMI connector to go all the way in so it is flush with the adaptor so it comes loose easily
