Posted .The other option with pass-through charge is the JCC155G. One of the most common reasons for heating up of device is their continuous use, specially if your charging your phone at the same time.

Keep in mind, it may overheat. My only warning. Other than that, it's great!

We completely understand the concern and if it becomes too hot to where it is harming you, please reach out to support and we will gladly exchange it for you under the manufacturer's two year warranty.

It does it less and less the longer it is attached but it is still annoying.

My son determined what cord to buy and raced over to your store and upon return the cord worked perfectly. We were able to show my dad's life on the large screen!! RIP Dad!

The only issue I have may not be the adaptor. The monitor after a period of use will go blank, requiring it to be unplugged than plugged back in.

The JCD383 is an easy way to add ports to a laptop. This adapter is plug and play, but requires to be plugged into a USB-C port that supports display port alternate mode. Glad to hear that it is working great for your needs and causing zero problems.

Can't tell if it's the dongle causing problems, or my monitor, or my laptop. Either way, response rate with the monitor is awful. Constantly have to disconnect, reconnect.
