Some computer manufacturers are going all in on USB-C ports. Meanwhile there are a lot of peripheral USB devices that are still being manufactured with USB-A plugs. Until everything switches over to USB-C adapters like these will be quite useful.

Not the best USB-C adapter

Worked well for a couple weeks
