This versatile item proves useful for small household tasks as well as outdoor camping trips. It effectively handles the powering of small electronic devices and can provide two charges for a Mac Book Pro. However, if you plan on using it for video production, it may be necessary to upgrade to the Jackery Explorer 1000 Portable Power Station or higher for optimal power capacity. With the higher capacity, you can power multiple accessories such as 2x Litepanels6x for a full 10 hour day. Although I rated this device only three stars, it was due to it not meeting my specific power needs.

The jackery has come in handy so many times, charges pretty quick also. Planning to get the solar panels for this unit. Festival season!

Great for camping, the power was able to inflate two air mattresses, a sectional sofa, run a fan for six hours, charge multiple phone and a speaker and deflate everything as well during a three day camping trip

Works like a charm so far have only gone camping twice since buying it . Won't go camping without it charges every thing i need and helps keep the lights on in camp.

Its important to know what you are getting here. This Jackery is old by most standards. Lithium Ion rather than than the newer chemistry, slow charging and no USB C port. That said it comes in at a good price point and includes an AC and car charging cable. And its a Jackery so well made. So it comes down to need. If this meets your needs OK but know what you are getting for the discounted price.

I love my Jackery 290. I purchase a 60w solar charger off-brand. I went camping with Jackery. We had full charge all weekend long. With 4 cellphones and two tables and one JBL portable speaker. We have a battery leftover to die.

Perfect size to throw in the trunk and take camping or for a half-day excursion to the beach.
