Purchased the product, brought it home and unboxed it, did not work out of the box. Showed 100 percent charged then died. Plugged it in charged it, about an hour later showed 100 percent. Turned it on again and it died. Best Buy had great customer service when I returned it, Best Buy is 5 stars, the one star is for the product. Several hours of my life wasted.

Not holding good charge. Used just one day without any issue to inflate my air mattress.

Not powerful, very cheap and weak. Can only charge phones.

Unable to power a air compressor! It may work for smaller items. I just was not able to use it.

has poor Charging ability connected to Truck power to recharge and drained my battery completly. not to mention really not work the Value

Worked well for a day and then even though it was charged it quickly turned off any time i plugged my iPhone in for a charge

Does not hold power longer than 1- hour. Tried to recharge while driving would not even do that. Sad!!

Didn’t last three weeks and Best Buy said it’s only returnable for 14 days. 300 just thrown in the trash. Thanks for nothing

Was looking very forward to get this. For years I have been using a Goal Zero Yeti 400, to power lights and other things on camping trips. That unit was a beast, heavy... This Jackery, is the complete opposite. Extremely light weight for what it is. A great size, not bigger then an average lunch box. Easy to carry, easy to move, and with some of it's bright colors, easy to see. So the manual says it will charge in about 6 hours. Which is really good, I haven't drained it completely and tested that claim, but it charged pretty quickly, and with no fan fair. My minor pick on the unit, is that it's external power supply, is just a little large and wasn't integrated. So it is something that can be lost, miss placed. They did provide a nice soft case to hold all the extra's though. I would love to see an update, where the power supply was just integrated into the unit. Also included is a DC changing option for your car lighter port. Now, I now more and more cars are not coming with those, but I you have one. great option to charge the unit while driving to your destination (or next destination). Using the unit is easy. Select your output type, enable it (small button) and connect just like you would at home. nothing else to it. (It is important to turn them off when not in use, as it will slowly drain the power supply). TWO USB ports, and one AC port. The AC port will drain more power quicker then the USB. So if you are charging a phone or bluetooth speaker, opt to use the USB. If you are a camper, or parent of an active youth, or just need power where there is no power... this is a great "bigger" option, then the simple power backs designed for phones. Looking forward to the warmer weather, to really put this through it's paces with larger bluetooth speakers, and maybe even more.

While I got this primarily as a back-up power source for my CPAP machine in case of a power outage I can see using this a lot around the house and outdoors. I'm also an amateur radio operator and will be bringing this along to power radios on field days. Our family likes to play Pokemon Go (yes, still) and we meet up with friends at the park on event days. I can definitely see this massive power bank being really popular with everyone. Jackery says a typical phone can be recharged 25 times. Or, in this case, 25 people can charge up throughout the day. In the mean time it can be used to power up a small min-fridge (the kind that run on 12 volts and can be used in a car) or a radio for most of the day. While I'm not a camper, this seems like it would be amazing for running some LED lighting to see at night. I expected it to be much heavier than it actually is. With that much battery capacity and given its size it looks like it would weigh a lot, but it's actually not bad at all. I can see taking this outdoors and walking with it without too much effort. Mine came about 65% charged (in case you would need it in a pinch immediately, but no guarantees on how it would look after sitting on a shelf for a while at the store) and charged up fully over the course of 2-3 hours using the included charger. The generator comes with a nice zipper pouch that holds the AC charger and a DC car charger to charge it in a car. According to the manual they will both fully charge the pack in 5-5 1/2 hours. The front includes a coaxial charging port for the above mentioned chargers or from a solar panel should you choose to purchase one. This would be an excellent decision if you live in an area with sketchy electricity or to prepare for storm season. Also on front are two USB ports for charging and a 12 Volt cigarette lighter type jack. Also on front is a normal AC adaptor. As I said earlier, this is primarily a back-up source for my CPAP and will likely live next to my nightstand on standby for any power outages. According to the manual it'll last 6-21 hours on a CPAP, likely depending on if you use the humidifier or not. Even if you can't think of an immediate use, having something like this handy for emergencies or family trips is really a must. If you're setting up an emergency kit or a bugout bag in a hurricane or earthquake prone area the Jackery Explorer should definitely be part of your inventory!
