These speakers can definitely handle some power. However, they are severely lacking in mid-range, while heavily pushing highs, at least in my application with a factory amp. Perhaps I don't have enough power to them, but the 6x9 jbls that I got for the rear deck sound worlds better.

These sound pretty good in my civic but I will be upgrading soon...

It was a good replacement for the car because my speaks had blown out.

I got these speakers installed on my front doors of a 2006 Honda Accord. I also purchased the GX963 speakers for my rear deck. These speakers made a major difference from the premium stock speakers they replaced. I did not replace anything else in the vehicle. It is important to note that my vehicle did have a stock external amp that powers all the speakers, so this has more power than non-premium audio vehicles. If you are wanting to upgrade to these speakers, make sure you have sufficient power to do so. These speakers run at 2.3 ohms (NOT the common 4 ohm load that other manufacturers use). I now have a lot more bass and the highs are more clear with no distortion at high volume. In fact, I feel a subwoofer would be overkill in this setup. I would also like to mention that Best Buy carries all the common sizes for the JBL GX series. If you mix sizes, as I have (6x9s with 6.5"), they compliment each other very well. JBL is part of Harman Audio. With that, there is also an Infinity line of speakers. Though they are marketed as the "higher-end" brand, I do not feel that there is a major difference in quality, especially for the price. I got these installed at Geek Squad, and they did an excellent job. Though the website has no mention of bundle pricing, if you purchase speakers and installation at the same time, you will save money. I ended up saving about 25% from the original bill. There is no real way of telling how much you will save until everything is totaled out. Overall, I would recommend these speakers over all the other brands that Best Buy sells.

Purchased complete system with 4 speakers, back up camera, and DVD/Nav system. The speakers were the only thing I didn't return. Seems to be working okay. It does the job.

I'm bought this to have geek squad install this. But geek squad told me that oem speakers are just as good. I return the speakers to bestbuy. Why waste your money.

I took my time to remove these speakers and return them after having them installed. My stock Subaru speakers sounded much better and I do not have a premium sound system.

The speaker design is what sold me. The overall performance were very poor. Should have stuck with Kicker.

I got these because the geek squad installer recommended them and they sound amazing! they sound clear no matter what sound level and the bass with it is incredible, I would recommend this to anyone
