I even said that I was happy to pay more for better speakers but the salesperson said that I would need an amp for any superior speakers. It turns out, after installation, that I need an amp for the these JBL speakers. They don't even sound as good as the factory speakers that were replaced. It's probably not the speakers fault, they might be good, but my factory head unit can't drive them to sound good. Disappointing. Probably getting the amp for them now, doubling the overall price. Ouch.

I didn’t expect them to be stellar, but I was hoping for clean and clear sound with a little bit of depth. If you turn them up loud enough to her, they’re distorted. It doesn’t matter what type of music, or how I adjust my bass/treble. These replaced 2 Kicker C-series, and the kickers blew them away for a cheaper price. But the kickers only lasted a year before internal wires broke and left them making no sound.

Very little support in store and when you do find someone it was almost like I was bothering then. I bought these speakers with little information in the hopes that they would be what I was looking for. When I tried to return they said I was not able to. Now I have a brand new set of speakers in my garage that were not what I was looking for at all.

My factory 6 x 9s made these look bad! Even had all my speakers wired to separate 5 channel amp. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY SPEND A LITTLE MORE abd get a good speaker bc this one isn’t it
