The sound is great and the unit is helpful in general.

Sound just ok. No equalizer when Chrome casting. Sound out of this JBL speaker is not that great (for being JBL). I guess they have to same money somewhere. Just like everyone else. Check the sound before buying. Not that great. ;-(

Speaker was not loud at all. Cord in the back kept falling out. Screen was nice but not a good product overall

I truly expected better sound from a JBL product. I ended up returning the item because I couldn't justify the cost for the quality.

Bought 29 days ago and it stopped working. Thank goodness I'm an elite member and I took it back. Gave 3 stars because it was nice when it worked.

Stay away from this JBL google assistant. It constantly crashes my WiFi. It doesn’t just loose its connection it kills the connection of anything else that is also connected to the WiFi. With no Ethernet port to connect to its basically an expensive door stop now.

At 100 bucks I thought they were a steal until I realized how many smart features this product lacks.

I’ve had it for 6 months now and the software glitches frequently. I don’t recommend.

I bought the JBL Link View today after doing a bit of research on line. I wasn't sure from the pictures how impressed I would be by its build quality. And, of course, I had to hear the thing to see if I would be satisfied by the sound. I am not an audiophile, but sound quality is important to me. I have a Amazon Echo, have tried a Google Home, and must say that music playing from the JBL is in another category entirely. Music on low sounds lovely and clear; bump up the volume a bit and the music gains significantly in body and richness. As fine a sound as one of the Apple smart speakers? I suppose not. But then, the JBL is around half the cost, and has the benefit of a display and a better assistant. The build quality is excellent. This is a handsome little device. The display is also excellent. I can choose to show either selections from my photo library or nicely curated art works; when music plays there is information about the song and album cover art, rather like on a smart phone. I'm in my mid-fifties and can't help thinking about, you know, a nice clock radio. This new device falls into, and then radically extends, that category. An interactive clock radio with a beautiful display, Google Assistant built in for queries with intelligent answers backed by YouTube and the web, and outstanding sound quality. I have this unit set up in my den, which is a small room. You would want, I suppose, modest expectations about the sound. Would you rock a large room of people with this, at a party? Naw -- it is not that kind of device. For having on a side table in the den, playing music while I read, available for questions now and then, displaying lovely art and the time when music is not playing -- for this purpose, I swear the JBL (and this new category of device) is a revelation.

JBL makes great speakers but not in this thing! Sound is mediocre screen is nothing special all of this in spite of being larger in size than rivals like Amazon and Lenovo

Great addition to our home and my parents home. We love the device so much we ended up with 4, I bought them to give as Christmas gifts. Hands down the best speakers and so versatile in uses. Talk for free using duo by Google for face to face with parents. Also as an alarm clock. We use it for listening to any YouTube channels and my son uses the ambient movie and music for white noise and nite lite through YT. I listen to my podcast and local radio stations. We can set reminders and clocks for wake up. I am thinking that this is my new favorite device and the quality of how it works is fantastic, JBL knocked it out the park. All these cool functions are done by voice commands. Also forgot to mention it is controlling our living room lights too. Thanks also to Google for this, please keep making updates.

First off this jbl device is beautifully crafted. It's everything you can want in a google Assistant device. Beautiful HD screen and the mic picks up your voice instantly without having to repeat yourself. The sound quality is superb with crystal clear highs and lows and great base. Easy setup. I highly recommend this product.

I just bought this and love it. Great sound. Linked my smart lights, and 2 google mini's. Can link so many smart devices like locks, thermostats ETC. Works great!!!!!! Absolutely amazing technology.

What a great sounding voice activate speaker. The screen is awesome and it looks great in any room especially in the kitchen.

I always want the vitual assistant with big screen im glad i waited until this beauty came out. It does everything and is fully loaded with lots of options. You can add the station as an app to have more veriety of choices. Speakers are great and the quality of the screen is awesome. You can stream from your phone and watch YouTube. Worth every penny!! Highly recommended!!

Very good sound quality. The intelligence of Google Assistant. YouTube viewer with quality sound and the recipe features are great. You can use Google maps, get directions, weather and sleep to relaxing sounds. If you could cast Netflix, it would be five stars. Come on Google; get over it and let us cast Netflix to this fabulous speaker. I’m sure the update would be painless, except to your ego.

This was a great device until it stopped allowing most web searches. When it allows multimedia searches, it takes several minutes to load youtube videos and will only play the correct Apple request after multiple tries. It is temperamental and understands my two-year-old granddaughter better than me. JBL blames Google but either way, it does not work properly. Unfortunately, I recommended this device to my mother and a few other friends.
