I love this stereo easy to use just what I wanted I put on a 07 Tahoe sounds great…

I bought this product and to replace the old radio from my 2013 Toyota Prius, I got it at great price. The accessories almost cost the same Price as this radio. It worked out and makes a great additional feature to my car.

User interface is amazing, and apple carplay syncs up immediately once car is turned on.

Inefficient, unreliable. It has given me problems almost every day since I’ve gotten it. Phone won’t connect, or it disconnects. I’ve changed cords & have tried to troubleshoot. One minute music is playing and the GPS is up and the next, it’s completely out and won’t work for the day. Next it might be fine for 5 minutes straight. It never works for the entire ride. I do not recommend. I’ve had it for over a year and this is an honest review. I have a 2016 Subaru Impreza and it was installed at Best Buy. I recommend you get insurance on it because if not, Best Buy won’t look at it and you will have to pay.

I have been very disappointed with this radio. The clock time does not hold, and I end up correcting it more than once a day. The radio shut off and restarted itself while I was driving. I have also encountered the screen fritzing and showing only scrambled colors for multiple minutes at a time on more than one occasion.

I must start this by saying that all I ever use is radios made by jvc. I was replacing a jvc double din that came out in 2016. This new unit didnt have half the features my old one did. To start the clock will not keep time. It constantly resets. The audio quality is terrible for music,podcasts, and especially phone calls. The mirror mode feature is a huge joke of a feature. 90 percent of the apps you want to use are block by the jvc mirror mode app you are forced to use. Android auto has high hopes but doesn't support many apps for music or podcasts. Also you are constantly stuck on google maps and can't exit from it. So it you have a data cap on your phone you will run through it quick. You cant touch the screen in a circle to turn up the volume like my last unit. Also if you have a song or podcast with a long name it will not scroll at all. Save your money and the head aches and dont buy this unit.Oh and the worst part was while trying to update the firmware the update failed and it bricked the unit. I searched for hours online till i finally found a way to fix it by luck.

Would not recommend. Can't even keep the correct time. Keeps taking 43 minutes of the time. Why 43 minutes? Also, get pixelization when going into Android Auto. I have tried resetting the radio but doesn't help. Tying to see what recourse I have with JVC and Best Buy.
