Radio works good but can't get Sirius XM it just goes to a black screen and says check Tuner if there 1 problem might be another .

It lasted one year and started turning on and off and then died within a day or 2. I hating not having a volume knob anyway I guess. Poor value.

After my stock head unit decided to stop working properly and one TERRIBLE replacement head unit from Pioneer, I ended up driving an hour away to pick up this head unit to install in my 2012 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport, and it it absolutely amazing, as soon as I plug my phone in CarPlay shows up ready for me to use, and the sound quality is fantastic (in contrast to other units I have used which had poor quality). Call quality is amazing as well, so much so that some people I’ve called didn’t even realize I was in the car! The only drawback to speak of is the fact that it doesn’t support wireless CarPlay but that IS clearly stated and also to be expected at this price point so I don’t mind. The only thing I can’t speak for is the quality of the internal power amp, but that is only because in my application I’m not using it as my car has the factory Rockford Fosgate sound package which uses its own dedicated amp that hooks to the pre-amp out on this radio as opposed to the speaker harness! TL;DR: amazing value for money CarPlay unit that this owner can not recommend enough!

Ive had my share of aftermarket radios over the yesrs. This is definitely the best ive had. I chose it primarily for 2 reasons. It has android auto which by the way works fantastic, and it has a capacitive touch screen. I had a kenwood prevously that had a resistive touch scren and the panel quit working properly twice. (I replaced it then the replacement died a few months later). So i definitely didnt want that type of screen again. I didnt like that it doesnt have a knob for volume. Its all touch. I quickly found out that theres gestures for things which makes it a lot easier to use. Move your finger in a counter clockwise or clockwise motion on the display and itll change the volume. Way easier than tapping the volume. That trick doesnt work on android auto though because of how android auto works it takes over the whole display input. Still, its great. Sound is great. My only complaint is i miss being able to play cds but thats a dying thing so it is what it is.

A good upgrade from my 2010 stock radio with no bluetooth. That said, I like the touch screen and the Bluetooth capability. The sound is a lot better too as it pushes more wattage. Nice being able to connect my phone to it as well. I have had some clunky connection when trying to use it when using Google maps. It will drop and sometimes need to be restarted. I can live with that as I don't use it that much. A downside that I have to say is the volume controls. It would be nice to have a nib to turn up and down. Hitting a button on the side is small and not easy to operate when driving. I do not have steering wheel controls asy truck has some years on her. For the money it was a good upgrade. The kit needed to install should be much less. Shouldn't be more than half the cost of the radio.

Purchased & Installed by Best Buy. One of the great things about buying a car stereo directly through them --> Free Installation. This JVC touchscreen has a nice large screen that makes everything on it easy to see. & also looks great in my vehicle. With features like Bluetooth, Android Auto, AUX, A/V, & Back-Up Camera Compatibility this Stereo is a great price. If youre looking for a High Quality Car Stereo without the High Quality Price, then this JVC is a perfect fit for you.

Good quality sound and the android auto works nicely. At this price point, the features and sound are a great balance. My second car has the backup camera attached and that feature works good too.

For years I had a base model stereo in my minivan. When that stop working, I decided to treat myself (since I'm a mom taxi!) and bought a JVC stereo, and I absolutely love my it! Easy to navigate thru and has all the little bells and whistles needed to enjoy your favorite tunes or podcast. Sounds great and looks good!

When hooked to Apple Carplay, it's great! At Night, too bright! Even with Headlight/Dash wire installed, it will blind you at night. Even in DarkMode. When I turn on lights, it dims by about 2% no matter if I tell my Dashlights to go completely dark. Lowering Brightness, in settings, just fades the colors down, not lower backlighting. Unless I'm doing something REALLY wrong! But by judging other reviews, it's the stereo. Set the clock... Great! Plug in Apple Phone...You get the phone's time. Unplug phone, built in clock changes by hours! No way to change DST or something within firmware once you phone gives it precise time. Sounds Great though! Steering wheel controls, I had to get the add-on from another company, works great most of the time.

Bought this affordable unit to install into my farm truck 99 F350. Did the install myself, very simple. I did not wire in a backup camera for my truck. Bluetooth works well with my iPhone, CarPlay was no problem either. Like this unit overall when I'm using the it.

Decided to replace existing Civic Dash Board receiver with an apple Play compatible unit. Wanted to be around $300. Also wanted to make sure that steering volume control works with the unit(needed to add a kit for that purpose). They helped me pick out this model and luckily that week Sirius XM kit was added as a free install. I am pleased with the replacement. I am comparing it with 2020 Honda CRV built-in unit. I could have given it a 5 star but infrequently it disconnects with the phone despite being plugged in. I had noticed that issue in Honda CRV unit too which is an integrated unit so it could be a issue with other units too. I did loose the physical volume controller knob which is not a concern for me.

The JVC radio performs well with many features. Excellent installation at Best Buy audio installation in Greenville. Daniel was wonderful to work with and did a professional installation and tutorial with me on the function of the radio. I also installed a backup camera which works wonderfully as well.

Easy to operate. Very good sound quality. Easily pairs to phones. Can have multiple phones and can choose which one you want Dont have to turn off Bluetooth to change

This receiver actually works really well! I did have to purchase several installation parts to retain the vehicles original functionality of the Bose amplifier, steering wheel controls, backup camera, door chimes, blinkers, and of course the antenna. However, the camera was clearer, the sound is amazing, and I now can use the Apple CarPlay functionality of the deck. This makes driving easier and I can control everything that the car originally did. I am very please with this purchase.

Easy to use, good sound quality, great features, nice to upgrade older car to android auto

Bought this as a replacement for my little sisters aging stock radio. She says it's a game changer since her stock radio really old. The apple carplay works well and there's no lag when using any of the functions. All the menus are straight forward and easy to use. The touch screen is responsive enough and she hasn't had any issues. It would have been nice to have a volume knob because changing the volume can be a little tedious. Other than that it has been great so far.

My son absolutely loves this stereo. Easy to use, easy to connect to his iPhone and my Android. Screen is great, and access to much safer map functions have absolutely helped him getting where he needs to go with confidence. Music sounds great, so do the phone functions. Best Buy installers did a fast and excellent job with the install, as well. Happy to recommend this as both a product and the accompanying service.

Great stereo! Easy to install. All functions work well. Good price for what you get. Doesn't have some of the bells and whistles that the more expensive ones do but if your not going to use them who cares!
