Just the answer I needed to solve my stereo problems. I was able to retain the stock bose amp behind the passenger seat and the bose speakers with individual amps. Can also add a back up camera down the road if I choose to. The installer took great care with my car and did an awesome job.

Overall a great stereo that has modern features such as Android Auto/Car Play. The features included hit every checkbox. Bluetooth calling good, phone hookup good, performance decent. Depending on your vehicle volume is doable but screen buttons not dial. Resolution is decent but not impressive. If you have steering wheel buttons for stereo it is supposed to work. We didn't have those in car so can't say how they work. It is advisable to install usb and aux port on dash so you can plug into back of this stereo, otherwise installer will run usb out of a seam in dash. Android mirroring does work BUT streaming apps are only visible on phone. Probably a safety restraint, though could be limited to when parked. I dont have a rooted phone so can't get it to work. The stereo does not have the ability to install apps like netflix that I have seen, so no way to use phone as wifi hotspot for stereo that would solve Android Mirroring limitations. Still a great stereo that works well hands free and it a major upgrade to the stock AM/FM radio. I would recommend unit.

This is my second JVC player from Best Buy.. First was and still is JVC CD Receiver BlueTooth KW-R910BT in my Ranger, installed Mar-2016. Just took sometime to get to know the controls in the new one. Auto Android is a nice feature with split screen. Installer and installation was top notch. As other reviews noted, screen is reflective and the left side control icons disappear at night. All controls on steering column work well. At first, Auto Android would not work with the parking brake engaged. The installer found the issue with a ground that had to be rerouted which fixed the issue. Over all am pleased with purchase and service.

Really happy with the way this went in and how well it works in my 2011 Toyota. The installation was great and they even went over how everything works step by step. I'd highly recommend. Will be getting one for my daughter's car, too. Love the backup camera that we had installed at the same time, as well!

This is a nice radio. A friend owns one & I was impressed with the features & sound for the price. It’s best to buy a real radio instead of the tablet radios you purchase for cheap on-line. I owned one of those cheap tablet radios. Nice features but sound was mediocre. Eventually the Bluetooth became so intermittent I was unable to even use the radio. JVC fixed all of that!

Excellent radio, I love it. it has the backup camera option which i had installed with it, and it works very well. great Bluetooth navigation system.

My daughter loves this. No issues and easy to use. Sound and touch work as described. Will be buy for my other 2 cars.

Awesome just my wife wanted. Love the apple car play. Easy to read and answer texts messages and make calls. The install was seamless and they showed us how to use it before we left. Again would recommend this to someone who is looking to upgrade their old stereo system.

The unit exceeded my expectations, it was really easy to operate and sounds better than my EOM unit plus I now have a backup cam monitor.

The radio itself is nice , sound good and looks good. the reason for the four stars is because the microphone for the phone came defective and best buy wanted to exchange the hole unit and not the microphone. Not an easy task after everything was installed. so I have to buy another microphone out of my pocket.

This radio was exactly what we needed to bring a 1998 Jimmy GMC to the 21st Century. Works great with an iPhone, looks great in the dash and has helped with my teen being able to navigate GOS and enjoy his music. The tech who installed was amazing and really did a great job!

Perfect fit for my small suv. I added a backup camera to it and luv it. Phone connects via apple CarPlay and works great. Considering buying for my wife’s ML320.

It has good sound and gives you and extra place to charge your phone..also its decent for the price of the radio..

Stereo was an open box item that had obviously been used, but I was able to make it work. It does what it needs to. I got CarPlay working and the sound is very good quality throughout

Easy to use the only thinking I don’t like is you can’t use your finger to adjust the volume when using apple CarPlay

Nice features. The volume buttons a little touchy. I’m still working with the EQ to get this on the way I want it but overall for the price I paid it’s a good radio.

Overall, not too bad for an inexpensive unit, it does all that you would need. one of the main reasons I bought this unit was the ability to mirror your screen from your phone. it does work but any app that shows video, the video portion does dot display but the rest of the screen does. I am not sure if that has to do with video resolution from the phone maybe being higher than what the unit can handle or if it is by design. And with that, when you go from android auto to screen mirror or vice versa, for it to recognize what you selected, you have to unplug the cable from your phone and plug it back in. The write up from Best Buy says it comes with a remote, but it does not, I did buy one and it does work with the unit. The volume control is bush button some time you are pressing the plus or minus sign to turn it up or down, but you may have to press a little above them for the actual sensing area for that function. And just like any unit or any software, once you understand how it works and where the functions are then you are fine with the operation. But overall decent unit for the price. For a more expensive unit, I don't know if you would have the same issues or not since I do not have one.
