I brought this head unit 4 my wife and she loves it!

Got it for xmas as a gift and my husband loves it!

This radio is good if your vehicle can fit a double din. It is taking me awhile to figure everything out.

Good functionality supposedly. The Android app is awful. Bluetooth won't stay paired.

The phone sync is terrible. I wouldn’t buy it again.

Android Auto and Weblink features do not work on this product. They might or might not launch, but if they do, they freeze. The interface is poor. You can't have time/date displayed if you have the navigation screen. You can't listen to music while the navigation screen is up. I will be returning this item.

JVC used to be good but this unit freezes, hesitates between radio/Sirius/xm stations then has no sound, has too many updates and closing screens - Distraction +

Things started to quit working everyday on it returned it for another one more expensive and supposed to be upgraded. After a week the usb quit charging and syncing with phone. Wouldn’t purchase ever again.

The AM stations have a pulsating tapping noise and every time I let my foot off the brake I get a long steady beep. I have made every change possible to the microphone and people cannot hear me and they say I sound like I’m in a tin can.

Everyone in the store told me the I could change my radio & back up camera because on my 2015 Subaru has a 3" back up camera to a 7" back up camera. However when I went to have it installed they said they couldn't do it?

I expected to pay about $200 more for the Android Auto option, which would allow me to use Google Maps or Waze for navigation. This unit did not perform. The unit really does NOT work with LG Android phones. You will always get an error, "access error of the USB device has occurred" and most of the time a "Unsupported Device" error message, too. About 1 out of 10 times you try to connect it will work with Android Auto (never with their WebLink software). You have to plug in the phone before starting your car, make sure your screen saver is not on and change the USB connection to File Transfer (sometimes up to 5 times). You will still get errors. If Android Auto does connect it will not update the album art on the JVC home page. Also, the volume for Google Maps with much lower than music. Spotify will work better with Android Auto. You can use Spotify via Bluetooth, but you will have problems with getting your playlists if you have created folders within your playlist (Android Auto does not have that problem). Also, you can't get all your contacts to show if you have a large list. It will show the name when you receive a call, but you can't look up that same name. Tech support acknowledges problems with LG, but wanted to pass the buck to them for the problem; I guess they don't test their products before saying it works with Android. I was able to connect to Android Auto with a Samsung Galaxy S7, but still experienced the other problems. Also, the unit will not randomly freeze in Android Auto or restart in general.

My 830BT rebooted randomly for about a year until I convinced BB to swap it out. I love the functionality and look of the unit but I am still having problems. (1) Weblink is a joke. Poor functionality. Of course, not my unit does not reboot but any time I use Android Auto it freezes!?! JVC PLEASE FIX! (2) glare is much worse on the unit than the 830BT. Why did they change? (3) Spotify plays wirelessly just using my phone app but Waze and Media player require a USB cable. Ugh! It seems like JVC took tow steps forward and one back. I am hoping for a firmware update...

Only worked once with my Android phone and that was when the tech finished installing it. Hasn't worked since and nothing I do works. I'm going back to Best Buy and having it looked at. And if it still won't connect with my Android phone I will probably have them uninstall and replace with a unit that actually works with Android. The bluetooth won't even pair with my phone. I feel bad that it's been a frustrating problem since it was a Christmas present from my husband.

Very hard to use. Volume buttons way to small. Directions of how to use is not useful at all. Waze constantly flicker will updating. I have an Android phone maybe an Iphone is better.

Would not recommend at least when using Android Auto. I spend more time connecting and unconnecting from my phone than I do listening to music.
