I purchased a 2009 jetta for gas mileage and to save my Acadia for road trips. I updated to this radio so I could use hands free service while driving. LOVE it. The only drawback is the cords come out of the glovebox and lay in the console..... However, that is a small price to pay for the functionality of the radio

I purchased this radio to replace my OEM. While Apple Car Play is a nice feature, it overrides the radio settings so that the SiriusXM feature is disabled if you have it on your iPhone. Additionally, the display is very dim and, while it can be adjusted for up/down viewing angle, it has no side-to-side adjustments that would be useful when located in the center of the car. Also, if you're wearing polarized sunglasses, forget seeing the display. And, lastly, while the radio is SXM compatible, my OEM had the SXM tuner integrated -- this one does not. Another $100 please.

I reviewed several models before settling on this one. Part of the reason was that it was on sale and when comparing models, it seemed to have the most features for the less than comparable models. The good aspects of this device are that it has an easy GUI, plays CD/DVDs, Pandora, Spotify, XM, and works as well as any with my Sync system of my truck, The bad is that the sharpness of the screen is not as clear or as vibrant as other models, the responsiveness of the screen also is lacking, and the amount of time to start up, switch to different apps in Android Auto, and features in the set up make this device one I would deem, "If I had known, I'd have never bought it." Speaking of Android Auto, this device seems to need more RAM or something because it sometimes plays, Spotify and Pandora over one another, locks up, can find my phone at times, and the list goes on and on. I paid almost 900 dollars to have the installed in my truck. While the device was about $375, and the install was free, the harness and all the other crap that comes with it inflated the price dramatically. Which brings me to this final point: For this kind of money, this device should do better.

The radio is awesome the kids love being able to play their music anytime and not have to have jacks and be plugged in the whole time. The downfall is the way they hooked up the port hangs out of glove compartment

The hardest radio i have ever instaled Not the radios fault i instaled it in a 2017chevy silverado it had a 2 piece radio trying to connect the wires was hard had to get three adapters Its installed and works great

She loves it and it works great. The tech who installed it was excellent The only thing was when I purchased it the sales associate said that it would work with the existing Garman backup camera which it doesn’t so had to purchase another and wait two weeks for it to be installed

The stereo is nice. It would be better if the Apple CarPlay were Bluetooth. However, The box was not sealed. And according to the website, an “open box” product should have a significant discount to it.

Nice upgrade, but mine had a few problems. First off, here in Virginia is law to be hands free, so I chose this radio to do so. Had problems the vet next day that people couldn't hear me. Tried multiple phones, microphones, USB and Bluetooth. Nothing worked. Also, when playing music through my phone, it would suddenly shut off of the volunteer was above 20 or so. The installer says the control module does that and it has to be wired differently. So, 6 months after I bought it, traded it for another head unit, so I'll see how that works out. Everything else worked fine.
