I guess it does it’s job

The price was right and I was able to connect a fire stick to it using the HDMI to RCA converter. The only downside is that the remote wire used to connect steering wheel controls is literally a wire. Other head units would have a headphone jack for that but you have to tap in to that wire. A bit archaic but OK

JVC head Unit

Said it was a Bluetooth head unit that required no wires plugged into the phone for Apple car play.. Wrong!! Had head unit removed & replaced with Pioneer head unit that did exactly what I wanted!!
