The only thing that I can say negative about it is the set up is a little tricky. I read the instruction book a few times and figured out. But over all I like it. It could have been a little simpler however.

cumbersome controls, gaudy display

The controls are not impossible to learn but they are quite complex and seem illogical. The controls on a similar Pioneer unit make much more sense. The display was obnoxious and took a lot of setting changes to tone down. I'm not in my 20's anymore and don't really want a club style lighting display going on in my car while I drive. This may look cool in the store - but not on the road.

I simply wanted to upgrade the stock stereo in my car to something more useful. I love that it's double din as I don't have that useless slot under the stero. It has all the options I was looking for, on top of customizable colors for daytime and night time.

Changed my driving experience

Because my car was so old it didn't have a aux port nor was I able to insert a tape adapter. Having Bluetooth capabilities on this jvc radio is the best feature i could ask for. It typically auto connects to my phone and you can control everything from it which i love. The only setback i wished this would have included is my original car radios dashboard information like the temperature indicator.
