I used this unit as the replacement to the lower end stock radio in my 2006 Explorer. The BT portion of the system works very well...much better than the stock unit that Jeep offers. I constantly stream my music, since I travel between Kettering and Pittsburgh, and needed to have something that could handle it without dropping signal. This unit does it perfectly. As far as DVD function, it seems to work well enough, but I don't really use it for that. There's plenty enough power coming from it to make my speakers loud, so no problems there. The screen size is adequate, and functions seem to be easily located while driving. The single knob for volume could be a bit bigger, and rubberized, but I can deal with it as it is. All in all, a great upgrade, and a solid purchase.

The quality of the sound output is far superior to the stock BOSE head unit that this system replaced. I debated replacing the factory BOSE radio in an MX5 for years and finally when my OEM radio quit, I decided on this from the recommendation of the sales associate at the Apple Valley MN store. He was absolutely correct in his describing that this system delivers clear and LOUD sound. As several of the previous reviews have stated, it is extremely difficult to see the touch screen with bright sun light; which of course is always the case when the top is down on my MX5. I purchased a remote for this head unit on Amazon for $24 since it doesn't come with the radio at purchase time. Hopefully this will make navigating the various screens and changing between radio, iPod, and iPhone just a bit easier. If not; I guess we are supposed to be paying attention to the roads instead of being distracted by gadgets!!! I will say that even with the top down and loud road noise at highway speeds, the sound output is phenomenal. I only wish that I would have made this switch years ago.

I replaced my Subaru Xtrek 2016 stock crap stereo with this beauty due to recommendation from an installer at bestbuy. I was hesitant due to reviews on this website; people say glare is horrible or quality is just okay or start up isn’t fast enough. 1. You have to change the settings to adjust viewing point to reduce glare; love it. Worked great. 2. You can adjust sound effects for more bass & wow is there bass. Boom boom baby. (& quality isn’t compromised at all. I’ll put a pic of my own settings.) 3. Start up is the same as my last stereo. Perhaps a bad install was the reason for that? Definitely pay for the geek squad; they installed it for me & it comes with a lifetime warranty & they uninstall it for free if you trade in your vehicle. Overall, I’m extremely happy with my purchase. I can see why this was the top recommendation. 150% happy with purchase.

We replaced the radio unit in our RV with this one. This was on sale when we went in, and we particularly liked that it had a volume control knob, instead of tapping the screen. When you’re driving an RV and towing a car, you really shouldn’t be messing around on a screen. The model that we originally had in mind didn’t have a volume knob. Sound is great and the installer connected our existing rear camera to it. We liked the fact that both my husband and I could receive hands free calls on it via Bluetooth while traveling. Easy to use, and we are well pleased.

The sound on this is incredible. It links to my iPhone without issue. Back up camera works flawlessly with this stereo. Great price as well.

This radio is very nice and for the price of a little over $200.00 i thought it was a good deal. The screen is nice with options and the back up camera is clear. The only thing with the back up camera on my 2017 Nissan Titan S is it wont work when i put it in reverse, i have to hit the CAM button on the radio to activate it, but it stays on however long its in reverse. The cd player works good. I have the Sirius XM activated and was very easy setting that up. I am well pleased with this radio and it has a EQ that you can adjust. My IPhone 7 works well throught the radio. I am glad I bought it. And the Tech at Best Buy installed it and did professional job!!! The Best Buy store is on Lee Hwy in Bristol VA

This went into my 1999 Ford F150 with ease. I only have the basic speakers, but the sound is great. Touch screen is a definite plus as well. I watch videos when I have to park and wait for my wife while she shops. Picture quality is good and the connection with bluetooth is awesome.

My cassette deck went out and I had to replace my car stereo. Nobody makes cassette decks anymore, but Kenwood still makes great car stereos! And this one even has a CD player! It makes my old speakers sound better than they did with the factory installed stereo. There are too many new features on this model to mention; it will take me a while to discover them all. But the most convenient is the touchscreen! You can operate everything this unit does just with the touch of your finger - that is amazing. They also had the foresight to leave only the most important one knob you want on a car stereo - THE VOLUME KNOB!!! So when you head out on the highway lookin' for adventure and your favorite song comes on the radio, you can still turn it up to 11. Now THAT is progress I can live with :)

So I have only had this stereo installed (by a professional) for 8 hours and it has randomly stopped streaming songs from pandora twice and just now completely froze up while streaming from my iTunes library. I had to shut the truck off, and the radio screen stayed lit up until I restarted the truck; at which point the radio then turned off and I had to manually turn it back on. I like the features of the radio, and it sounds AMAZING compared to the factory stereo, but I am concerned about it freezing and not turning off even when my truck is turned off.

Its my first upgrade to a bluetooth and touch screen radio in my car. Samsung Note 9 Connecting was easy... but android auto doesnt work. It will turn my android auto on with bluetoothe because I set my phone to do so whenever it connects to the radio... i have yet to find a usb to usb c connection that will connect android auto to the radio (tried 3 of them). That was a major plus for me buying it and super dissapointed bc i always get an error msg that device cant read data. Also, the screen will not register touch correctly when its cold... I live in Los Angeles... the coldest it has been on my morning commute was 41 degrees. I rubbed my sweater sleeve around the screen to warm it up for about a min and then it works... not sure if its better bc its back to 50 degrees in the morning or the screen just needed to be "broken in"... but would not recommend the radio to anyone who lives in an environment with temp highs in the 40s all day....

This is a great sounding stero and the blue tooth works great . Very user friendly. I really needed to be hands free. Drive all the time.

The system is great, easy to use. Plays my spottily and Sirius radio. The screen is great had my backup camer hookup the view is great

I bought this for my 2004 Suburban, fits perfect. Easy to use. Sounds awesome, and was a great price on sale.

Good upgrade from stock. Plenty of features, bells and whistles. Touch screen can lag at times when using Spotify. Bluetooth works fine. Your only going to get like 20-25 watts RMS from it so get a amp. Simple install as well. Had it done in 20 mins. No remote or backup camera included. Those are separate.

Kenwood Dvd Cd radio player is a must have. It is easy to work with and learn quickly. can play Pandora and has great sound. Playing movies and Netflix for the kids works great as well. Spotify is great on it as well there are a lot of extras you can do. GPS works great and you can play movies only if you buy extra piece from amazon.
