Customers are saying
Customers express satisfaction with the Garmin GPS, navigation, sound quality, ease of installation and use, HD radio, backup camera, features, and volume knob. They find the Garmin GPS easy to use, the navigation user-friendly, and appreciate the great sound even with factory speakers. The installation process is manageable, taking about 2-3 hours, and the stereo is easy to use and program. Customers also enjoy the HD radio's clear sound and the convenience of the backup camera. However, some customers have concerns about the remote control, display accuracy, and glare on the screen in sunny conditions.

Not worth it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this unit on the first day it came out and I totally regret it. The device is supposed to connect to your IPod blah, blah, but according to Geek squad install I would have to pay an additional $200 for new hardware to make it work? If, I hit vid o on my unit the screen turns black and the music turns off. Run, run, and don't look back.

Piece of junk
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this head unit to have gps, guess kenwood neglected to upload any maps onto my unit. Tried all their suggested resets and updates, still just as big a disappointment as it was the first time I fired it up. Good way to spend 850 bucks if you would like to waste a ton of time and be unsatisfied with such a pricy product

Great Product
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Went to store and talked with a great sales associate. He helped me understand the different units. I went in with the intention of just looking and purchased a unit before I left and they had me set up to install the next day. I love the unit. Very good quality. Took just a little bit to get used to and to figure out all the features. I do have just a little bit of an issue with seeing the screen in daytime but from what I understand this is not uncommon for a unit with a screen. Overall, very pleased. Got a great product on sale at a great price.

Good Deck
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an excellent deck, however some features are not listed in the product manual but found online in youtube videos. The worst thing is, if you have a standalone Garmin GPS you can import your addresses from it into this unit. At this price point one would think that would be a viable option. I personally went with this unit because of the Garmin GPS cause I thought I could use my old addresses. Had I known this I probably would have gone with another less expensive brand with a different GPS provider. Also no option to purchase a remote is another downside.

Great unit with features most people would use.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgraded from a Jenson VX7020. Great unit, great sound, and pretty easy to operate. Call me old-fashioned, but I like still having a knob for the volume. On the Con side, I don't think the displays or screen interface is as nice as the Pioneer, but that's just my opinion. Also, Kenwood went cheap and didn't include the remote. Even with a sale price, they could have thrown that in.

Worst experience buying anything ever
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best Buy website said this deck would work with my 2013 Sequoia. It does not. Bought Geek Squad installation with it but was not informed at time of purchase of over $100 in extra parts required: trim kit, various adapters etc. Also could not find a store that would install closer than an hours drive from my home. Wasted one trip to this store when I was informed I did not have correct parts for installation. Ordered everything I thought I needed and double checked with the installer. Made another install appt., waited 4.5 hours, returned to find the car in pieces and was told that almost nothing was working properly: no steering wheel controls, no backup camera, no usb or aux input, no nav. Installer simply could not get it to work. Decided to return the deck on the spot and waited another hour for everything to be put back together. Colossal aggravation and waste of time.
