Sonically and value driven
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good CarPlay media radio, inputs are wonderful and plenty of power like my previous one. Now it’s been hooked up at Best Buy with a steering wheel kit and works well. The 3 rca cords factory made easy transition into a 5 channel amp. Sounds good, controls are intuitive and CarPlay is the reason I got it. Highly recommended. Maybe an Alpine may be better, I don’t know, but if any indication of longevity, my other kenwood is still running great. Only downside is that it’s not cd player. I could have sprung for it, but didn’t. There’s always thumb drives.

An actual knob for the volume would be nice. Still haven't found a steeringwheel interface that will work beings that there isn't a 3.5mm jack port for connection to steeringwheel controls. The audio quality is mediocre at best, will need to look into an external amp for improvement. Would be nice to be able to play music on thumb drive in a random order.

Always room for improvement..

Its a nice unite better than the stock unite I had. One thing I'm still trying to figure out is how to get the scan button to work. He** I maybe pressing the wrong button.. lol I was a little disappointed at the extent of the modifications I had to make getting it to fit in my dash, thank God for epoxy. I have an 20+ year old Dodge Ram..

Vox commands atc all worked . I bought this head unit to mirror it on a largerr screen . It is useless. I traded it in for a pioneer hesd unit. That one is worst. If you are looking for a turn the car on, seamlessly connect to your android device issue vox commands, woyhout touching thevdisplay , then prepare for disapointmrnt
