Has all features expected from a nice head unit. However, only had a couple weeks and CarPlay doesn't always connect. Also, seems to "hang up" on radio channels when switching stations.

This radio is not intuitive it requires reading instructions often and trying things. Apple car play does not always work. For an auto consumer product, since you are driving while using, should be much easier to use.

In two months I'm on my second system and is not working at 100%. The first system typically didn't work at all. This one has had issues starting up but is still running after one day.

Put this in my 2015 jeep wrangler. Left the top down overnight. The dew dripped down the screen into the switches and shorted the ribbon cable. DOA

When it works it works great. I’ve been having a lot of problems with the Apple CarPlay component, which is why I purchased this

It was nice but not what a expected. I returned this head unit for the Pioneer 4201NEX which has a really nice display.

My main concern I am having is that I have to reset my head unit too often to get it to connect to my phone

Can't accurately review because I had to return the item due to their inability to perform installation.

Expected more No navigation even though they give u an antenna My old pioneer was better

Software has been really hit and miss, and there is no MUTE button. Seriously?

Unfortunately with all of today’s disctractions while driving, the makers of after market units like this have to protect themselves from litigation. I simply can not touch the screen of a radio just to get it to play music/radio every time I crank my car up.

We spent good money for a stereo, speakers, navi dystem and backup canera. As soon as we left Best Buys installation , we have had problems with the stereo and backup camera. We will be bringing our truck back for the third time after the holidays and probably spend the entire day waiting for the "specialist" to check out why the back up system only works sometimes. We will never go back to Best Buys for a car stereo purchase/install again. Very expensive, time consuming and poor workmsnship. The dash opening was enlarged to accommodate this system and now we can't put our old stereo back in. Not happy with Best Buys customer service, installation or pricing. Try to get an appointment after they mess up your install....good luck.

Mediocre attempt to simulate systems in modern/current cars. Had to return to the install operation 3x due to bad Android auto connection, blue tooth integration, station pre-sets. Basic stuff. Would not buy again.

Had 3 of these installed, none of them worked. Kept loosing power and restarting. Instal tech said it was becuase of the speakers in my car having different ohm ratings which this player could not handle.

As an owner as the older version the DDX9702s there were a few things that annoyed me about functionality. THe DDX9703s has improved upon just about all of my gripes and leaves me quite satisfied with my upgrade. Clear Resistive touch screen reacts cleanly every time, not that my 9702s didnt but this one is just smoother. Kenwood moved from an Android based OS to Linux which allows things to run much smoother and quicker. Kenwood finally upgraded to a 1.5a (android quick charge) from its 1a which actually charges my phone. an upgraded 13 band EQ puts the 5 that I had to shame and really helps clean up my audio system (Pioneer TS-Ds and Alpine PDX-V9) as the Pioneers are a bit bright sounding for my likes in the tweeters. FLAC support, yes please. Using Android Auto is a breeze with Kenwood, the only reason why I chose Kenwood over Pioneer 4200NEX. the pioneer has dual zone monitor options for rear seat entertainment and 2 1.5a USB's which would be nice for switching between my iPod and Android Auto, but whatever. the Pioneer took about 5 minutes to load Android Auto from my phone and that was enough to keep me at Kenwood.

This item was missing the microphone and company was giving me a run around for days on providing me with a solution. I will not buy anymore products from this company, the Best Buy in McDonough Ga wouldn't answer there phone either which is also not a good luck for such a busy retail store, called several times. I'm done with this product and company

Under no circumstances should you even consider buying this pile of GARBAGE doesn't work half the time MAJOR WASTE of money! Continually will connect to my phone through wired connection shut down restart wont connect once rebooted its an extremely expensive RADIO because its the only thing that works!

Could not use it due to the cost of accessories needed for the ultimate function.

DVD don’t work not happy on it tried a few of them just not happy

Had this for 30 days still not working mic sucks doesn't understand voice . Been back several times still doesn't work . Techs tried to help. .Buy one that's already installed. This is junk.
