I bought this and the first time it was working good. After a few months, the connection to my phone via USB cable is on and off. It keeps saying Android phone not compatible with the stereo. I haven't changed the phone. So I am little disappointed.

Best budget wireless carplay receiver. Screen resolution is good. Bestbuy free installation is bonus.

Required basic stereo installation knowledge. Highly recommend reading the manual. Would suggest that the manual have more detailed info on the optional features. Overall satisfied with purchase.

Poor Screen Quality and Radio Already Broken

After only about eight months, the radio has gone out. All other sources work; but, there is not signal and no sound from AM/FM radio. I've verified antenna connections, and reset it; but, it still doesn't go. I've contacted Kenwood support and have received no response. Aside from this issue, I'd argue that the screen resolution and responsiveness is less than I would expect from such a higher end receiver.

Waited 2 months for a geek squad installation. Spent the last 3 hours trying to get Android auto working. Let's add I use rental cars frequently for business and never had such problems connecting my phone. Used alternate cables, reset BT connection, tried wife's phone (which connects via Android auto to her car no issues) nothing works. My phone mount will no longer work (it utilised a factory screw that will no longer fit it) so now I have no navigation either. Really unhappy with BestBuy right now. Next step was to get amp/speakers to lift the audio game but never going back.

Having issues and will send out for repair. Very inconvenient. Will be without until repaired. Was nice when it worked but can’t recommend.

Wireless CarPlay never worked. Bluetooth worked intermittently. Ended up changing out to a Pioneer
