I’m very happy with this purchase. The ability to adjust the integrated crossovers and equalizer to enhance the sound make the most amazing difference. The viewable options of both the reverse and dash cameras only add to this amazing sounding head unit. I’m even considering purchasing another one for my other vehicle.

I've got a Crosstrek XV "Limited" (what a joke). I bought it brand new in 2014 and suffered through it's head unit for years. Finally, after outfitting my daughter's car with an awesome HU, I got one for myself. The Kenwood DMX7706S fit the bill: no disc (yay), multimedia receiver, BT, Android Auto (sigh, and CarPlay), camera inputs. The screen is HUGE (compared to my small 2" OEM screen), so forgive me if I'm a bit excited. The resolution of the screen is pretty good. BB did the installation. It only took them about 3hrs (my guess is they've got some good experience). The Kenwood fits like a glove. The sound was a MASSIVE improvement over the OEM indash. I know I need speakers, but this unit brought the OEM speakers to life. I can't boom like good speakers/amps, but inside the car, I get plenty of all. It really does sound good. The bad? IMO, the interface is a mess. You have to do some serious customizing to get it cleaned up. This Kenwood does NOT do FM-HD. Overall: GREAT aftermarket HU with a decent price. SO to the installers - good job!

Having acquired a 2012 Kia Soul, I noted that the speaker system was very good but the stock radio was from 2012. I wanted Apple CarPlay and the chance to get a backup camera. The Kenwood DMX7706S fit the bill perfectly. The Geek Squad did a great job installing the unit. The DMX7706S is clean and functions perfectly with the steering wheel controls. I had the SiriusXM tuner antenna installed for reception of satellite radio. The unit is SiriusXM ready but you need the antenna to get it to function. This is not clear but that is life. My only complaint is that the dimmer does not work but one can hit a button to turn off the screen. Of course, if you are using Waze or Maps, this is not what you want. There are many controls to play with. The speaker system sounds even better now. There is also the programming of SiriusXM stations which is a little complicated but is simple to solve. I had Kenwoods back in the day and was impressed with this version today. Sleek, clean, and loaded with functions. Highly recommended if it fits your older car.

Bought as an open box to save money and was a good value but clock does not hold time and resets when the car is turned off and I have tried many fixes found online but none have solve the problem. Overall the unit works fine with many sound setting features but cannot recomend due to that issue.

The installer got all the bugs from my old stereo fixed, I got this one as a replacement it was 500 dollars cheaper and soo soo much better! we couldn't get the back up Camara and phone buttons on my steeringwheel connected , but we set up an appointment for that! over its great! I highly recommend it.
