Kenwood radios has always been good so I’m not surprise on the features and the quality of this radio

So glad I upgraded from my Sony. The Apple car play is fantastic and so easy to use. Sound quality is also so much better

Almost perfect. Bright, colorful and responsive screen. I love the Apple CarPlay on long trips and the many apps the stereo has. SiriusXM was simple to connect. The only issues are that it sometimes forgets your mobile phone via Bluetooth and that you have to restart it to get Apple CarPlay to activate, every now and then. CarPlay is not wireless. Installation is a breeze, but you’ll NEED a Maestro with the proper flash for OE button use, as well as auto dimming and such.

I got this about a month ago and overall it’s very helpful due to CarPlay. I originally got a new car stereo because I wanted it to be louder (I have a Subaru cross trek and they’re notorious for not having loud radios). While the sound quality did improve and the volume did get a little louder, it’s not nearly as much as what I’d hoped for for 600$. CarPlay is great if that’s what you’re looking for, though it would be beneficial for customers who already have the total protection plan which covers installations (200$).

This was bought for my son's 4runner. It sounds great and has all the features we were looking for like Bluetooth.

Does everything it says it will, sounds great. Works perfect for an upgrade ok a Jeep JK.

Good purchase, android auto lags a little bit, Bluetooth is good, easy to learn the features, plenty of customization settings.

Well worth the money! If your interested in a quality aftermarket stereo with Apple-car Play, look no further. This car stereo Apple-car play feature is awesome! Best car stereo I have ever had. I am very pleased. Also, I would recommend this car stereo to everyone looking for a quality deck with the AppleCar play feature.

Overall, this radio works for me. The radio has all the basics I need. It works with Android auto and you can Bluetooth your phone. While using Android auto, your phone is hooked up to the radio by a USB/charging wire, so that means you are charging your phone at the same time. My backup camera still works. It has cool graphics. The monitor is the perfect size for me.

I primarily got this for the Android Auto feature. I have only had it for one day, but love it. The user interface is intuitive and very responsive! I had the geeksquad install it. It's a little too recessed, due to a crack in my dash bezel. The unit text and images are sharp. Radio reception is fantastic, Audible sounds amazingly clear. Now I can tell I need to replace the speakers next!

Everything about it is pretty clean and easy to use, apple Carplay is for sure my favorite.

My first Kenwood after being a staunch Pioneer buyer, always owning a double-din touch screen 6-7". The most notable differences are sometimes the least obvious, like the things that "don't" get in the way of using it. I always found the Pioneer touch screen to be flaky, and the Kenwood is as good as my smartphone. The Kenwood is feature-rich. The sound shaping capabilities (EQ, crossover, time alignment, and staging) are thorough if not exhaustive. You can get lost in these controls to the point of creating a mediocre environment. Easy to initialize and start over until you get it right. If you're going to use the Kenwood crossovers, which are good, bypass or minimize any amplifier crossover controls. Pioneer has long had an excellent iPod and USB library navigation. This is one thing Kenwood could improve on. I'm still figuring some things out, but it always seems I'm pressing 2-3 more functions, or being returned to the top of the alphabetical list whenever I go back up a level. And the indexing of my library while faster w/ Kenwood, is more succinct with Pioneer. But Wow, the Kenwood/Android Auto functions are outstanding! I'm sure Pioneer has caught up somewhat, but their earlier bleeding edge app releases were horrid! My biggest gripe with this Kenwood or any other units would be providing only ONE USB port. Give me a second USB so I don't have to switch between my phone and jump drive. Android Auto could provide better options for accessing music on my phone.
