I love this Kenwood! I am sooo glad that it has a cd player plus bluetooth and usb! It worked out super awesome with my 10 in kicker and amp. I couldn’t be happier. I can even adjust the lighting on it to customize it to different colors. It also has preset sound settings as well as customizable options for sound. This deck also has a bass boost which really makes my sub pound. This was the perfect set up for a suv. One 10 inch sub is enough for my car to bump without pounding our heads off. My old set up was in a car with a trunk. It’s different having the bass in the car with you instead of in the trunk. I don’t like to pound my head off like I did when I was younger. Plus I have a kid now to think of. That being said, this is definitely capable of pounding plenty. It can be heard by my neighbors but not for a square mile like my 2 twelves did in the trunk of my old car. I’m running a 1500 Rockville amp and a 10 inch Kicker that is a “behind the seat” sub. It’s nice because it doesn’t take up as much room in my trunk as my old 2 twelves did. That all being said, I would definitely recommend this set up to anyone who wants to add some bass into their lives. If you really want to pound to the point of waking people a quarter mile away, get 2 twelves though. My next plan is to have Best Buy install new 6 inch round speakers for the front, the back, and put new tweeters on the dash. Should be dope. The install took from 1pm to 5:30. Good thing the Spokane Valley Best Buy is by the mall. I brought my daughter to a kid play area first and then to Olive Garden afterwards which were both across the street. She had a great time, and fell asleep on the way home to the sound of my new system. Thanks guys! The install guy was very professional. Expect a phone call from Best Buy a day or 2 in advance to make sure they have all the parts. There was some problem with the stuff that the lady who set up my appointment tried to order for me and the installation team. Apparently it was a systematic problem with technology where the parts we tried to order were not ordered. She tried but it didn’t go through. It was a good thing the store had everything we needed, but that phone call I got the day before was paramount to the installation. So make sure to return their call if you miss it or you might need to reschedule if they don’t have everything in store for your installation.

I love this radio. I have a 2000 Honda Civic I just bought which needed a Bluetooth Radio. I have 24/7 Geek Support on my computers so installation was free if one has this. The salesman was knowledgeable and helped me pick out just the right one for my needs. I am old school and am still listening to my CDs so wanted a CD player. I have been a city girl for 30 years and hadn’t had a car until I bought my Honda so I really knew next to nothing about them. The technicians were on-time, friendly and gave me a great demo after installation. This radio hooks up effortlessly when I get in the car. The colors look cool. I am very happy with this purchase. No downside for me on this radio. This was a win for me from start to finish.

The aftermarket stereo in my 1998 Ford F150 finally died. 26 years old (I installed it from another vehicle) This stereo had all the features I wanted, with a few more than I thought I needed, but I like them now. Installation went according to plan although the instructions for the kit required to install this stereo into the truck could have been a bit more clear. Overall this is a good install and a very nice stereo.

Cool stereo! Great sound with plenty of setting options. Separate color settings for volume knob, buttons and display screen (night & day). Settings are easy to navigate. Love the cd player!

I love the Kenwood! However I had issues reguarding the "free" installation. When I purchased the radio I was told the free installation would cost around $30. I went to my neighborhood Best But and was told as I purchased the radio they couldn't schedule my install because the installation center would get mad. So I called and scheduled the install myself. I then visited the store where the radio was to be installed. The gentlemen said I would cost $230 to have it installed. They said I needed a $149.00 module that was suited for a newer car and they would might have to cut things to make the Kenwood "fit". I then called Kenwood and they referred me to Crutchfeild.com. They told me I needed and cheaper module. I spent $100 on parts including panel removal tools and soldered the connections myself and installed it myself in 45 minutes. Not cool Best Buy installation guys...

Would have given 5 stars if not for the poor coordination between Best Buy, Geek Squad and me. When i arrived at my installation appointment, the guy told me i needed more parts for the installation and he also needed to charge me $30 more for adding a power wire??? Wheres the free installation?? I went into the store and they didn't have all what i needed. I had to order parts and reschedule my appointment more than two weeks out. I wish Best Buy would have coordinated better. I didn’t know exactly what they needed and they didn’t tell me to come back and order specific items ahead of time. Coordination between BB, Geek Squad and customers needs to improve. So, i finally got what i needed and showed up for the installation. It went well, except that the guy installing my new stereo lost my user manual, so now i have to look it up online and print one. I have 2007 Ford Mustang GT.

I am enjoying the Kenwood CD player! I still have CDs and most new cars do not have one. I also like being able to talk on phone hands free. I am able to get iHeart and other music stations. The sound is excellent. This is an excellent choice. I have already recommended to several friends. This is the one to buy, you will not be disappointed.

Great little radio hooked it up turned right on pretty easy to read display rgb is great lots of colors to choose the sound quality increased greatly from the stock. Kenwood for life

Bought an open box, description said that it would include everything that came in the unopened box. It did'nt include everything. The microphone is missing, and it is a size jack exclusive to Kenwood. The unit does have great sound and power.The display has a clock that is easy to see, and the controls are fairly easy to navigate. Just wish I had mic!

I recently bought a Kenwood DPX 504 BT CD/Radio Receiver as a replacement stereo for a similar sized Kenwood stereo I bought for my truck in 1993. I tried to repair the old stereo but was told by 3 different shops that parts were no longer available for my old stereo. The Kenwood DPX 504 BT is a great value for the money! It’s a fairly basic unit that doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of other models, but is just right for my truck. This stereo sounds amazing and you can tweak it to get the sound just the way you want it! It’s a bit involved learning how to operate the stereo because the hard copy owner’s manual that comes with the stereo only contains 25% of the information contained in the online version of the owner’s manual. Anyone purchasing this stereo needs to know this important information as it will save you time and frustration to use the online version of the owner’s manual as soon as you open the box, and not even bother with the badly lacking hard copy version of the owner’s manual!

This item does all I expected and more. Easy to program and operate, great sound quality. Works well with the blue tooth on my phone, Best buy installed this item and did a great job, technician took the time to show me how to program and use the controls!

I love the features on this product. It has a great sound and it is so easy to use. I am old school, so I love playing CD's. The Bluetooth feature is awesome.

The stereo was purchased at one Best Buy store and then we traveled over to another store to get it installed in our Winnebago RV the next day. Tech's installing Stereo were great and it looks good in our Ford E450 Cab. Sound is awesome in the cab and back in the main coach. We can now play our old CD's and we plug in my phone to the auxiliary port and listen to Sirius XM Radio thru the stereo sound. Actually works better than I was expecting. Have not tried the Bluetooth yet... and are still working on figuring out how to use all the dials and settings. So far after a month... we enjoy it very much.

I purchased this audio after reading and researching various reviews. I replaced the factory system that came in my Mustang GT convertible. Although, I was hesitant to change the original, I needed hands free options for driving and talking. This system was installed by geek squad. They did an awesome job and the sound quality is great. It also works with Alexa.

Bought a boss radio off of Crutchfield. Nothing against them (great site great people) but the radio was trash. New to stereo systems and I figured I could skimp out on the head unit xD kenwoods a good brand. This unit helped my speakers sound way better and there’s a good amount of customizing options in the menu. You can boost basic options or boost various hertz levels w/ sub controls too. I like how you can display time and date on main display. Good bang for your buck

The installers were fast, and helpful. They answered my questions. They even helped a grumpy old guy connect his ancient flip-phone to the auto answer mode. And the CD player is awesome. It is great to be able to enjoy my collection of CD's again

I bought a truck and the radio didn't work, couldn't pass up the deal on the truck. As soon as I transferred the title, I made a left turn to best buy and purchased a stereo. The salesman was awesome and I got my installation date within weeks. Today, I had the stereo put in and the tech gave me a 30 minute crash course in using it and again was very friendly.
