I had a new radio installed in my old Camry and everything went well. The thing that surprised me was the fact that the installer followed me to the car to explain how things work on the radio and performed some professional adjustments. I was told to come back if I had any other problems about the radio and they would be happy to help me. You do not find this kind of customer service in very many places. You have some good guys working in your mobile unit

I've always been a Kenwood man concerning car stereos but I must say this is the first Kenwood that has let me down. The sound quality and features are good for a unit under $200. The on going issue I've had with this unit is the horrible bluetooth function. The problem is there is an intermittent malfunction with the bluetooth concerning a phone call where I can hear the other party but the can NOT hear me. Kenwood realizes they have issues with the bluetooth performance and they tried to address it by offering downloadable firmware patch to correct the bluetooth issues. I downloaded this patch about 6 months ago and it seemed to correct the issue for a few months but now it's back to acting up. I wish I had retrieved the old Kenwood DPX502BT that was in my last truck that was totaled in an accident. I never had a single issue with that unit in the 4 years I had it. That's something I can't say about the DPX594BT, I'm to the point where it's time to cut my losses and move on to another unit, maybe a Pioneer next time.

Plenty of power and relative ease of set up. It meets my expectations.

Needs to have an operators manual to at least get the basics

I have one of these that is only a couple of years old. The control knob is now so flaky that I can't even adjust the volume - I have to throw it out and buy a new receiver. Horrible quality.

This was a Christmas gift for my wife. Product is great and installation was completed on time.

Radio did not fit into my vehicle although the car fit guide says that it does. When going through installation I am told that it is expected of me to cut through my dash and make enough space for the radio. This should not have to happen in order to properly install and when I went to return this I was told that it was against company policy because it was already opened.
