Easy install. Easy bluetooth connection. The reason I bought it was to have a Bluetooth radio in my car. Still would have liked it to be more radio friendly. There is no way to scan stations. There is no way to display title and artist for the radio. It would have been a great feature to be able to hear google maps from my phone over the radio. The only setting you can hear maps is when in bluetooth mode listening to your phone already. It doesnt work on radio, usb, or aux. Still not bad. Sound is good and the price is fair. So far no major problems that make me regret it, but my preference would have been more radio friendly.

Bought for husband for Christmas he absolutely loves it. Great Quality has all the latest sources of stations. Placed this Kenwood Radio in a 2016 Toyota Tacoma. Husband radio went out and this item was a great replacement. Ten times better than the manufacturer radio. Would definitely recommend no issues and all around awesome product.

My 6 CD Changer in my truck quit working so had to get a radio with a CD in it. Had to settle for a single CD unit. Never had a Kenwood so thought I would try it. Noticed the next several days the radio kept losing time (4 min+). Resetting it didn't matter, it still kept doing it daily. Went back & had to get a different one put in. A lot of wasted time & gas running back & forth but the 2nd one works good now. I love some of the different colors you can change the radio too. Overall, radio works great for the price.

This unit has at least respectable, and defensibly high, quality functionality for its cost. I find it to be, faultlessly, quite complicated, because there are so many features. It is easy to mistakenly believe that something (such as Sirius) is not working correctly, simply due to an inadvertent setting. My advice is to sequester your ego (pride?) and study the owner's manual. Sirius-XM works great on this, my first XM installation, a 2007 Ford Focus Wagon (one year before Sirius radios came factory on Focus). The XM antenna installation was easy on this, due to the rear tailgate. Here in a major (enough) metropolitan area, signal is strong. A Metra kit allowed cookie-cutter installation. I'll post a review of the single-din next installation in a 1960s muscle car, where I already drilled through the roof rear and mounted a (tested on Focus, known good) GM sharkfin XM antenna. My only concern about the DPX503BT is that the radio's heatsink became too hot to hold a finger on. There is no amplifier or non-stock speaker. I attached a finned copper block computer CPU processor type heatsink to the radio's (not finned) aluminum (rectangular extrusion) heatsink, with of course high quality transfer paste. The heat abated, and I can still add a fan to the copper block if desired. The "good news" is that this can be done; curiously the radio heatsink actually looks like it was designed for some kind of optional cooling aid.

I can't say that recommend this receiver. First of all I purchased this head unit to replace a factory one that didn't have Bluetooth capabilities. The audio playback from my phone via bt works great, but the calling features are terrible. I get complaints all the time from callers saying it sounds like I'm in a tin can and they can't hear me. I have the mic mounted at the top driver's side of the windshield. Second, the FM radio reception is almost non-existent. With this unit I can barely get two stations, whereas with the factory unit I could easily get 9 stations. Finally, the illumination is so weak, you can barely see the display in daylight and forget seeing it in full sun.
