    Shouldve bought a protection plan

    1st things 1st. Stereo was running ok for a year. Sometimes it would freeze up but rare. Then i got the new Samsung Flip and it constantly froze up. Downloaded updates but no imediate instrutions or warnings about which update to run 1st. I just went left to right, MCU update first and then ARM. Bricked the stereo. Cheaper to get a new one then send to fix. Lesson learned. Dont buy kenwood products.

    The stereo I bought and played for a month prior to installing never showed up. A supervisor at the store went and got me one at a different store. This mess up cost me hours of head ache. The system of ordering and getting installed is a huge pain! The stereo its self does not work with my phone, though at time of purchase I was told it would. So the reason I bought this was wrong. All in all a very bad experience.

    The radio signal didn’t really improve much from the stock radio. Dont like the touch screen buttons for the volume, home ect. It sometimes doesn’t work. Had to reset the unit a couple of times. Good other than that.

    Didn’t fit also said free install wasn’t free when we got there like 350 dollars in fees so this was returned quick

    Its ok. I don’t like that the usb is a plug that comes out of the back of the stereo and is routed throng glove compartment. Also, Bluetooth is often disconnecting which is frustrating. There is no volume knob either,

    Do not waste your money or time. I had this unit installed in October 2024, here we are January, and it has frozen so many times I cannot count. I was told by the best buy chat they do not have a warranty and will not do anything.

    Phone mic and andriod auto

    Bluetooth does not support phone mic and android auto have to be wired connected and not through Bluetooth. Able to respond through mic for text, but phone call doesn't work. A $70 FM transmitter with a screen i bought from Amazon is capable connecting to andriod auto through Bluetooth. This $400 is still wired.

    Product is probably OK but it did not fit my car like Best Buy website said it would.

    I like the large time display but when playing a CD the eject button was hard to find. still trying to find out how to work apple car play

    Would have been good if it didnt lose connection with carplay every 5 minutes

    Worthless, failed after 4 months and since i didnt buy geek squad protection, Best Buy will not take care of it.

    I still haven't been able to listen to it. It was bought for my birthday 11/23/2023. Best Buy in Tallahassee, Florida had no one employed to do as advertised free installation and i was told no one would available to install until February 2024. Will I buy anything else from Best Buy. No.

    I researched for a radio and picked this one, drove over an hour to buy it due to it the last one they had, set up the appointment to have it installed and the audio person said it wouldn't work in my vehicle, so of course they tried to upsell me, I will not deal with BestBuy any longer!!!

    Horrible service. They are rude. The person i worked with confirmed that he has set up an appointment for me at the Mountain View store with the geek squad. When I get there they say we don’t have your name in there and we cannot take you in without an appointment. I was there for 45 minutes and they were just chilling. They could have easily completed my work because it was a mistake from their end.

    CD player broke after 4 months of use. Really not much else to say about it. Really terrible quality.

    Got this open box item quickly, but it did not come with all of the parts that it was supposed to when listed as “Excellent” condition. No mounting bracket, no microphone, and the wires were chopped incredibly short (one was only an inch from the back of the unit). Had to return the unit and get another.

    its an overpriced headunit. the response time on the screen when you touch it is brutally slow. i just got it put in my car today 2-4-23. and by monday 2-6-23 i will have it removed. also the options are weak and no wireless apple car play??
