Not as great as promised

Just finished a visit to my dealership to investigate loss of power to radio. Found that connectors used in original installation were poorly fitted causing intermittent loss of power. Won’t be returning for any more installations.

Bad quality

I had it professionally installed and everything was great. After having it for almost a year the volume up button stopped working and a couple months after the top right of the screen stopped working too.

Don’t go with a kenwood

Not an improvement to the base model.

Shouldve bought a protection plan

Sometimes it would freeze up but rare. Then i got the new Samsung Flip and it constantly froze up. Downloaded updates but no imediate instrutions or warnings about which update to run 1st. I just went left to right, MCU update first and then ARM. Bricked the stereo. Cheaper to get a new one then send to fix. Lesson learned. Dont buy kenwood products.

A bad day

A supervisor at the store went and got me one at a different store. This mess up cost me hours of head ache. The system of ordering and getting installed is a huge pain! The stereo its self does not work with my phone, though at time of purchase I was told it would. So the reason I bought this was wrong. All in all a very bad experience.

Dont like the touch screen buttons for the volume, home ect. It sometimes doesn’t work. Had to reset the unit a couple of times. Good other than that.
