Kenwood deck is just okay
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Kenwood deck is basically like all the others. I'm very disappointed in the tone range. I actually believe my 2000 Alpine sounded better but it didn't have a bluetooth connection.

Nice while it worked
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It sounded great but only worked for 2 weeks. Took it back and the geek squad is sending it to get repaired or replace it if it's not repairable

Awesome Head Unit with a lot of Features
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awesome head unit that looks cool, many input options, audio control, and ease of install. I bought this unit to replace my old Kenwood KDC model from the early 2000s in my 1998 Jeep Wrangler. Unfortunately, the wiring end from the old model did not match the new 372u model (same 16-pin connector, but latch was slightly different), but it was an easy splice. This unit comes with 3-Preouts (3 white RCAs/3 red RCAs connections) which was perfect for my setup. The front and rear speaker preouts went into a 4 channel amp while the 3rd preout went to my monoblock amp for the sub. It was my first time installing an aftermarket unit (old unit was in-place when I bought the vehicle) and it was easy with the instructions included with the unit. Appearance: - LED looks sharp. There are many color options and compared to my old unit, there is a lot of information displayed: time, date, station name, song, etc. Perhaps this isn't a new feature, but compared to my old model, this is many jumps forward. Audio: - Upon plugging in the first time, I immediately noticed the enhanced audio quality compared to my old Kenwood headunit. Highs/Mids/Lows were crisp and distinct. I was blown away with the quality when the speakers, amps, and wiring all stayed the same... only a new head unit was replaced. - The radio quality is very clear. My old unit was very "stacticky" and I get a lot more stations with the new one. In regards to antenna adapter, my Jeep did not need one. Functionality: - Bluetooth connects in a breeze. Also have options for USB, 3.5mm input, and CD player. - Faceplate detaches with a click of a button - My old unit used buttons to change the volume. With the turn knob, it's a lot more convenient to control. Audio Control: - I haven't experimented with the manual user control, but glancing over, there are a lot of tweaks the user can make depending on each frequency band. There are plenty of presets available. - There is a subwoofer cut-out. This function is awesome because I can easily turn off the sub and still play music without messing with the fader. - Other functions like loudness (turns everything up including the sub), sub-level control, type of car, etc. are also very cool functions For under $100, this may have been the best upgrade in my Jeep despite having an aftermarket head unit before. The quality, functionality, and appearance makes this a well-rounded product that I definitely can recommend. I hope this product lasts like my old kenwood head unit (15+ years)!
