Beware open box!

However, the ones that were shipped to me were actually Dual branded speakers. Yes I bought an open box set for my son, and I should have checked them closer when I got them, so bad on me. However, I would have expected BB to confirm items returned to their store that had clearly been opened were in fact the correct product being returned, especially since they were labeled as open box - Excellent. Unfortunately by the time my son returned from summer abroad the return window had expired, so I am stuck with these inferior speakers that I didn’t even buy.

Mediocre product quality

However, once it's put to the test the product quality is mediocre! They are not compatible with any size sound system (not even 10s w/a 1000 watt amp). With my 10s they sound like they're about to pop/bust. I have to turn the bass down to 0-1 and that's no fun. If you're planning to add a sound system in your vehicle don't purchase these; add $80-$100 more and get a better quality product.
