I purchased two pairs to be ceiling-mounted in custom boxes in my shop space, as car speakers tend to be a bit more weather and dust resistant than indoor ones. I'm not wanting anything that can dominate SQ or dB competitions, I just needed something to stream music through an old PA amp while I do wood- and metalworking. For automotive purposes: these would be great farm-truck speakers.
