It probably has more quality sound and a more precise punch. Nevertheless my old sub is punchier and louder on its own. I tried it paired with my old sub and by it self. And not amazed. Again it's a good sounding sub. Quality sound. Just not for me.

Bought one for my WRX and wish I would have gotten a bigger box (better acoustics) or a second one to meet better standards. This will do the job for most people but if you can afford the upgrade then it will be worth the extra change.

Kicker subwoofer

I have shopped around for a sub with box that'll fit in my rear seat of my truck and this did not disappoint. This sub wont win you competitions but it sure will boost your bass volume, GUARANTEED!

Modest perfection

I was strongly advised not to get any hideaway subwoofer. I think these are like tattoos, you want more. Definitely would recommend but be prepared to fall in love.

Not a hard hitter

Didn't want a large system because I actually use my trunk space to haul things. Used with the Kicker CX 400 amp and the sound and size of this system is just right to add plenty of bass to an otherwise pathetic stock sound system.

Just the right amount of bass to enhance the factory stereo. Wired it up with an LLJ Customs T harness and a Wavtech Bass Restore.

Great for single cab trucks

I’m a shorter guy, so I can sit a little closer to the steering wheel, and this fits behind the center. (Taller people should be careful) sound is great for the price.
