Great low bass! Lots of power! Very pleased with this sub!

Was originally looking for a 12 inch, couldn't fit in the previous mademail enclosure I had and small space in car. The comp S seemed too weak to really provide enough bottom end. Bass is really loud with this, haven't pushed to maximum rms watts, wouldn't hurt to have another if you want window rattling bass. (Recommend a vented box)

Using as a free air sub to replace a blown sub that’s not supposed to used for that purpose. This is more than plenty of base for my liking. Actually had to bring down to -1 on Sunday setting. Paired with Jl audio 500/1 mono block.

I had purchased a pioneer shallow mount 10" sub and amp combo kit from another store, and I ended up blowing the 10" sub within 24-hours. So I purchased this kicker 12" subwoofer, hooked it up to the same 450-watt amp that was driving the pioneer 10" woofer, and it has been working well for over a month now. I'm into bass heavy electronic music, and this 12 has had no problems with the 808 drops and subsonic sine-wave content I have been pumping into it. One thing to note: this sub handles the lows well 30hz-90hz, but it's to big to efficiently handle the mid-bass 90hz-150hz "punch" of the kick drums in the music I listen to. So I'm going to add 2 x 8" kicker compR subs for the mid bass and throw filters on them so they can do all the "punchy" frequency work. I have a jeep wrangler 4-door, and listen to music LOUD, and this one sub is more than capable of handling the lows. I really like the CompR line, so I'll stick with them. My mids/highs are Focal, and my amps are Pioneer. Shout out to the best buy associate who helped me figure which sub to buy based on the amp/ohms/wattage I was using!

Personally I’ve always used Kicker for subs & amps. You will not be disappointed with this CompR. It has enough bass to only have one sub which is what i prefer nothing too crazy. Of course Kicker also has other superior subs & I would recommend them from CompR or better.

We installed this in a subwoofer box and the bass is so loud, I can't hear myself think!! My son said this is a good thing, so I guess this was worth the money...I'll let you know when the ringing in my ears stops! Lol. He enjoys it and we get the pleasure of hearing it thumping through the walls inside the house.

Excellent speaker. Nice and punchy for mid bass. Need 12 or 15 inch subs for deep thundering bass. My first dual voice coil sub and I'm liking it. Construction of the speaker is solid and appearance is awesome as well.

This subwoofer is a good bang for your buck. I paired it with a Kenwood kac501 mono amp sold by best buy and mounted it in a q bomb up firing box. I have it in a 2017 sierra crew cab and it sounds great.

Upgraded my factory Bose system with this kicker sub along with components and coaxial speakers and am loving it. Bass thumbs hard inside and doesn’t rattle the outside like a old pinto. Highly recommend!

This is a very nice subwoofer. It packs a punch when listening to songs with lots of bass. I would definitely recommend to someone who needs a subwoofer to make their sound system sound better.

When you connect these correctly (yes many are incorrect and damage or never see the ability of these) this thing pounds and hard. Nice sound not weak or cheap by any means top of the line

Bought these speakers for a box in my son's truck a little over a year ago. One blew out after the first year but I bought the 4 year geek squad warranty and they replaced it no problem. Great sounding speakers!
