This is an excellent compact subwoofer if you are going for boom on a budget or are like me and simply cannot have a larger one in your vehicle. Kicks pretty hard and hits better than any pioneer or kenwood 10 inch sub that I have had and is definitely an improvement over the comp-C.

Bought 2 10" subs at first, then took one out. It was too much for me! Makes a great deep sound!

I spent a long time researching subs, looking for quality, good sounding and something that doesn't break the bank. I am quite happy with it, I am only using one but it hits hard and good tight bass. I listen tock so in my opinion it's well suited for that kind of music.

The sub was on sale at a great price. It sounds great with the Kicker amp I also purchased.

I bought this as a replacement for an older, different model that is no longer made. It has a great sound and holds the base very well. I would definitely buy this again. To my benefit I already had a speaker box from my previous speaker but it fit in perfectly.

This speaker and its twin are imaginably incredible when being pushed by a 500.1 alpine amp. Sounds like i got three 12's

I bought the 12" kicker comp r sub for my car. I knew it was going to be a good buy, however this sub surpassed all expectations. The only thing I could recommend is making sure you power it correctly, you have to have the correct amount of power. If you underpower your woofer you could damage it. Read the guidelines on the box.

This is a really good subwoofer for the money. Hits nice, and has a good amount of bass. Can’t go wrong with this one.

Probably the best in store subwoofer at best buy. Bought a pair of 2ohm 12s to rr place my blown 4ohm CVRs. They hit hard and so low. Powering the pair with a mere 500watt alpine mono class D at 2ohms in a ported box. Can't imagine the increase once I hook up a second mrv-m500 to power them individually. Very happy

Got on thanksgiving and had geek squad install it. Gr8 that they suggested this rather than Alpine. Gr8 bass

I was a bit hesitant at first but after listening to the sound that this woofer produces, I am sold on it.

Puts out allot more base than my old JBL subs nice crisp and clear.

I originally had this paired with the Kicker 600W amp. It was installed and ran fine for two years before the sub finally blew. Thankfully I had the 4-year Geek Squad protection plan. Champaign, IL Geek Squad auto techs (Ryan, Phil, and Josh) are the best. When Ryan went to swap out the the damage sub, he realized they had mistakenly installed it two years ago without wiring BOTH of the voice coils. I had been driving around with "half" of the sound from this sub. It still sounded really good. That's when they also realized that the 600W Kicker amp it had been installed with really wasn't a good match for this sub. They upgraded me to the 800W Kicker amp at no charge. Well that amp was actually too powerful for this sub and kept blowing it. While the Comp R 12 did last it sound amazing for its price point. If you can find the right amp to pair it with it's well worth it. Matthew 7:12

These Kicker 12's are just what I was looking for. They sound good and hit HARD!!!!! And thanks to the lady that checked me out I have a great protection plan for my speakers. In case I get a little too wild and crank them up too high lol. Hands down One of my best purchases. Thanks Best Buy

My old subs were pretty loud. Well, I thought they were. The first song I played on a pair of these subs made it seem like my old ones were door speakers! I was blown away. Especially for the price. It was definitely worth the price.

I was skeptical. But the product actually blew me away! This item is for someone who not only wants to add low sound to their vehicle but want to feel the bass flowing through their seats. 10/10 would recommend this product!

I purchased 2 kicker comp r subwoofers and have them in a potted box with a pioneer amp pushing 800 RMS to both and these things hit hard. They can take a beating and haven’t had a single issue with them.

I have had many brands, JL audio, Rockford Fosgate. This sub really is as good and reputable as the other brands. Be careful when installing the screws in. Go slow. I broke a small piece off of it. And exchanged it. No hassle.
