I replaced the factory speakers with infinity kappa 6x9 back in 2016. I recently noticed the sound seemed off. I discovered the drivers side speaker frame, which is plastic, had cracked and the perimeter of the speaker was perforated. I installed the KICKER CS and bam! Had my sound back. The Infinity did last six years and would still be functioning if the speaker had a metal mounting surface. The KICKER has a metal mounting surface.

If you’re looking to replace some car speakers, this is great on price and sound. But would not recommend for marine applications.

I always buy Kicker products and this series does not disappoint. Make sure to buy wire harness and speaker harness along with it .
