These are good speakers for manufacturer replacement

Speakers are ok nothing like the older kickers these really can't handle a high amp

I installed 4 of these in the doors (front and rear) along with the CST20 dome tweeters on a pioneer avh-x6500 head unit. I have 2 10" polk momo's with a sony explod amp and the kickers put out some crystal clear quality to them!!

I put thse in my 2011 base model Ford fussion. They have great sound just working off the factory radio. Great for an upgrade over those cheap plastic factory speakers.

I put four of these in a large Ford Expedition. There was alot of space to fill with sound. The Kicker 6"x8" had so much better sound than any other 6x8 I listened to.

Was skeptical of the Kicker speaker as a high/mid range instead of subs but, I was pleasantly surprised by their performance. Would buy again!!

over all this product is perfect for its price. you really cant get much better for the price and the waranty was super cheap to purchase.

replaced the really old ones and these sound just great....would buy again if needed or recommend to my family....

I had to have that size, I probably could have gotten some that wrre a little better, but at twice the price.

The speakers are awesome. I have a 4 channel 1600 watt amp with 1 12" kicker. The sound is perfect!!!!

The stock speakers in my 2013 Mustang left much to be desired. I'm not expecting awesome sound from the stock head end, but the factory speakers are a major weak link. First, I picked up a pair of Pioneer TS-G6844R speakers, but those were worse than stock. The bass was more distorted and the highs were only very slightly improved. I took those right back and got these Kickers. Wow, huge difference! Well worth the extra $20! The bass is smooth and thumping. They don't sound like subs, but they punch about as good as any 6x8s I've ever heard. The highs were an even bigger improvement. The factory speakers were particularly muddy but these sing. Cymbals, snares and vocals are crisp and there is a lot more fidelity. I can hear a lot more of the fine details of the music than I could before. The only trade off is that with any higher power speaker, there is a loss of sensitivity. I have to turn the knob on my underpowered deck a bit higher in order to reach the same volume. At higher levels, this forces me to push the limits of the deck, resulting in some distortion and clipping. Again, this isn't the fault of the speaker, they just might force you to exploit the weakness of you factory head end.

The speakers are better than stock speakers. They are loud. However, the sound distorts when base is increased.
