Awesome purchase. Perfect for sound and to not take up too much space

I have been a fan of Rockford-Fosgate for a long time, and this small but awesome sub just makes me love them even more. It is exactly what I wanted: something well built, durable, self contained and reasonably priced. I am looking forward to many years of MUCH better sounding music now that I have this.

Sales Team Leader Mike Montesano at Best Buy Store #863 provided great customer service after I had a Very bad experience from the Sales manager of Home Theater. I will skip the separate review from my purchase of the JBL sound bar that had a faulty optical plugin, and just say that I was treated very well a couple days buy the then working Sales Team Leader of Home Theater, Trevor Rauch. Trevor was over the top sincere and what one hopes to get in regards to customer service. I was so greatful for the unexpected service from him I wanted to take a look a the car stereo options to step up my sound in my car. Mark was very personable and I really enjoyed talking with him along with his knowledge of car stereo sound systems and applying it to what I was looking for. Overall two Big Thumbs up to Mike Montesano on customer service skills and a likable personality that only compliments making a good name to represent Best Buy's reputation. Same goes to Trevor Rauch, both very surprisingly shifted the very bad experience I received the couple days earlier I was there, when I rapidly, Rudely and Smugly told "sorry" upon trying to exchange my non functioning home theater system I bought with the new LG 55' television. Again, Trevor and Mike both redeemed my outlook and intentions on continuing to be a Best Buy customer. They both deserve some recognition of what any customer of Best Buy could hope for. Thanks guys!!

Started out good Then yesterday started getting an arcing noise in my back speakers. Now the sound quality isn't good. Very disappointed. I spent àlot of money on the equipment and install

At this price you wonder how well the quality will be. In my 2012 Mustang, I just wanted a little extra thump in my music. This Hideaway fit the bill perfectly. And with the ability to control the base at the turn of a dial, its a no brainer.

Little speaker with a big enough punch! I didnt want to shake hoise just a little enriching to the Bose system I already have. Perfect pairing!

For the size and convenience of installation, this amp/speaker combo really helps.

It adds exactly what was lacking from my factory system. The top of the casing seems to be formed to low tho because the sub slaps it at high volume. I cut it off and it sounds so much better.

I decided to get the hideaway because I didn't wanted the cargo area in the back of my Subaru Forester to be taken up by a larger subwoofer. This one sits perfectly under the drivers seat, and has great bass. If you want something that can thump but you don't want your doors to rattle off the hinges, this subwoofer is for you.

I put this tiny but mighty sub underneath my driver seat in my 2012 xB. And it provides just enough bass and bump for my little car. I also ran JBL GTO component system for the front and JBL gx speakers in the rear doors. The sub complements the rest of the car well.

Small but mighty. Worth every penny. Filled my truck with the low end that was missing. Remember it’s only one 8 inch woofer, it’s not going to be window breaking. It just makes your music sound full and better inside your vehicle. Awesome.
