||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought a Kicker Hideaway 8 in 2012 and lasted 6 years with many hours of music. Eventually one of the internal wires broke and decided to buy another. I am now on my second getting ready to return this one also. The first replacement had a popping sound at higher volumes. I returned it and had to wait for a replacement because my store doesn’t keep them in stock. When I received the second replacement, plugged it in and no sound at all. Again, checked the store online for availability and nothing in stock. Now I will try one more replacement and have to wait for it to come in again. Hopefully the new one will work. I am recommending this to a friend because when it does work they sound great for that extra bass in the truck.

When it did work

great buy

Good sound but cuts out.

Only complaint is that it will cut out at a certain volume or higher which is inconvenient when the top is off. Adjusting the gain, bass boost, and crossover doeseem to help.
