Search for something better

He informed me that he did an install with this same product and it sounded like crap. Some of the issues are: The enclosure is to small for the sub woofer to breath, no good place to mount it and with the factory system that I have (Bose) it will not exchange my sound. Also because of its size , by putting it in the trunk I will not even hear the bass

Boom boom boom -- amp is great too

I've turned it on & off in my Pioneer deck's speaker settings and you can certainly tell the difference. The amp seems to make the JBL speakers I had installed crystal clear. Very pleased w/ BB's install, too!

Destroys car batteries and alternators

Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great sounding subwoofer and i like its inclusive, compact design…but it’s killed 3 car batteries and 2 factory alternators. Best Buy installed this and every car battery i’ve had since corrodes the positive battery terminal where the subwoofer connects, leading to the battery shorting out and destroying the alternator. I’ve been scratching my head over thousands and thousands of dollars worth over repairs over 2 years before I made the connection. It’s not a big subwoofer, I just wanted something small to give me a modest boost, I don’t know why this little thing sucks sooo much power.
