not very loud
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I placed 2 of these in my Suburban to replace the factory Bose system that came with it. The 2 subs just bring it to the volume I had with the Bose system before, but with much cleaner bass. Punches pretty good, but doesn't get deep bass though, because it has a has frequency roll-off way above 40Hz. this might be all you need in a Smart Car or other super compact car. I had to turn the crossover all the way down to the lowest setting of 50Hz, and de-attenuate (-6db) the upper bass frequency between 60 to 80Hz to keep it from booming. She sub sounds much smoother now, with great kick, but still can't reproduce 30Hz.
