I bought this to replace my off brand $100 subwoofer. Which pretty much kick the crap out of this kicker sub. I had kicker sub before and they were good one i had. But this one save your money. Bass is not that good and was to big to fit under my seat.

Scheduled at the wrong store, didn’t have the equipment at the store. I waited 3 weeks for install only to be told it can’t be done the day of, so the next date they had was 7/22. So in other words it would have been another 3 weeks to get installed. So I happily asked for a refund and purchased somewhere else. They got me in that day and only took an hour and a half.

This 8 inch didn't last 5 months and lost total sound and isn't very deep at all spend the extra cash and get the 12 I am very disappointed in KICKER for this purchase. I also don't blast my music so it should not have blew.

I am on my second unit after the first one died randomly while on vacation. The remote bass control stopped functioning, which is okay because I hardly use it, but leaves me waiting for it to die again.

Was great when it worked. Had the first one for around 2months or so. It went out. I have total tech so I utilized the warranty and got a brand new replacement. It went out in less than 24 hours. Don’t buy it, waste of time and money.

Couldn't even tell it was on. Had it professionally installed by the Geek Squad and could not even tell a subwoofer was installed. the audio didnt sound any different. I was able to turn the subwoofer up a little more but the distortion was terrible. I ended up returning the product and getting something more powerful.

Bought on 07/08/2023 had best buy install it which everything went well now gotta get a new one since this one already went out no sound but has power. If you are looking for bass this ain't what you want save time and money.

Speaker just has a rumble bass sound to it. Not a solid hard hit like I was expecting.

Purchased the sub woofer for ease of installation. Did not want something too large to eat up valuable trunk space in a sports car. Lasted approximately three months before it died. First time I've had a kicker product fail. It was still under manufacture warranty and my money was returned. I stuck with the kicker brand and went with a separate amp/sub woofer combination.

It was only stated in real small font on a small sticker that the wiring harness and instructions were missing. I wish that the clerk could have been more helpful by lettinge know these two very crucial items were not imcluded. I wanted to replace the door speakers in my new car before installing the kicker and by the time I realized the harness was missing it was too late to return.

I bought this for my wife's car so it could go under the seat. The first blew out and the second barely has any output at all. Don't buy if you're looking for good bass.

Came in defective supposedly. Geek Squad Alpine Grand Rapids Store had my Jeep all & overnight. Nothing was completed except a back up camera that’s installed but doesn’t work which was a week ago & have heard absolutely nothing as to what will be done to finish the install!

Why was this item sold to me!! It wasn’t the right part for my car!! Horrible online sales team. Geek Squad came through and helped me get the right one.

Bought a open box unit that was listed in Perfect condition and it was missing a cable.

Had the product installed in my truck to only have the sound of another door speaker. If your looking for extra bass this is not what your looking for.

Not recommended if you are looking to add bass to your car

Best Buy said they fit my Toyota Tacoma 2020 and unfortunately they did not, the stick out. Another thing they failed to mention was that if you have seat warmers, it voids the warranty on the product. This came directly from there installation team, who refused to install the speaker/amp. I did get a refund

The Kicker Hideaway is a great compact powered subwoofer. I installed it under the front seat of my 2011 Hyundai Elantra. I had replaced the factory door speakers with Infinity component speakers and despite the incredible improvement in sound quality it still lacked the depth and fullness that only deep bass provides. The answer is the Kicker Hideaway. The Hideaway does a nice job providing that deep full bass. It was a simple process to install and tune myself and has worked flawlessly since installation. It won't turn heads as I drive down the street, and it won't upset my neighbors, but that's not my goal. it does provide full, deep, crisp bass inside my car. As a self proclaimed audiophile for 39 years and I am impressed with how it handles Classic and Psychedelic Rock, as well as Classical and Baroque.

Just stopped producing sound one day. When i got out of my car one day it was working fine. The next day when i hot in my car to go to work, no sound and it was lit up like it was on.
