The best buy guy recommends the hideaway under the seat however it doesn't fit. So it locates in the trunk but it sounds not enough bass however according to the installer, he recommends leave the rear seat with fold opened, it sounds better. To me, it sounds ok. I am looking for another product, more than 300 watts and better bass. 2016 Honda Accord EX

Great speaker as long as your only playing music for the folks inside your ride, must use adjustments to get it right though.....

Amazing subwoofer. Easy install, two different methods available. Sounds great, plenty of bass for a 8" 150W speaker. You would think it were bigger. Controls are great, everything is great about it.

The first one that I bought was dead. Wired it all up, plugged it in, powered in but no sound. I know other people had this issue so I exchanged it, plugged in the new one and it has worked perfect. I installed one for a family member and same issue, first one didn’t work, got a replacement and it died after a week. Replaced that one and it was also dead on arrival and we are now waiting on another replacement. Out of 4 units, only one of them worked which is pretty horrible.

I chose this powered subwoofer to replace my blown powered subwoofer in my 2005 F150. I was extremely disappointed with the results. wiring was a breeze, but the output from this little unit wasn't near the quality of the factory unit.

I bought one, liked it so much I bought a second one for my other car. Both were professionally installed. Unit #2 died after 10 months, so Kicker replaced it under warranty but I had to ship it at my cost ($50 Seattle to Midwest, via UPS). The replacement, unit #3 died after 2 months. I probably could've returned it claiming warranty issue, but there's no point in paying the shipping again. Unit #1, ultimately died after 2-3 years of use. I say spend your money on the more reliable name-brand models. Maybe on something that can be repaired at local authorized repair-shops.

bought this unit about months ago, and I didn't have time to install the sub, but when I did it did not work, I have the blue led and it's says it's working but no sound, replaced cables and checked everything and nothing has work, would not buy Again.

Literal junk, bought, replaced a couple months later, replaced again another couple months later, replaced again and when it blew again a few months later just said screw it and now have a dud under my rear seat. Mind you I’m a girl who just wanted a little extra bass. I realize it’s not designed to pound which is why I bought it.

Im a die hard kicker lover so its very hard for me to put a negative review on this item, but i hooked it up in my single cab dodge ram and only got disappointment, i have Kicker speakers all through the truck and this sup setup had nothing to add to the sound quality, honestly i think it made it worse, the sub when cranked over half way distorted, my 6x9s dont even do that, I Immediately removed it and returned it to the store

I’m sure the product is nice but this “BestBuy approved” open box item was missing the wiring harness and the gain control. That means I had one of the three items that were supposed to be there. Called to schedule an install in store and that’s gonna be in February.

I bought two of these from best buy.the both took a crap 7 months later.i called kicker to get replaced or fixed and was told tought luck by a manger.i will never buy kicker again.BUYER BEWARE

Bought 2 of these within 2 months of each other. Both of them burned up even though I had the Geek squad install them both times. Sounded o.k when it worked in my Fiat 500 but disappointed by lack of power and bass output.
