Love the look along with option of convection. The sliding racks are AHmazing!!!

I have not calibrated it yet but I think it bakes nicely.

We have owned this oven for seven months now, and it still emits a powerful chemical smell when in use. Others complain of the same thing in various forums, for this and other ovens (likely the highly toxic insulation and bonding agent manufacturers put close to our food). For my pregnant wife, it’s simply intolerable and anxiety inducing. I’ve tried to offgas and burn in for months, to no avail. Best Buy and KitchenAid have both just said “sorry” and done nothing, even though it’s still under warranty. Stay away from this oven. And because they refuse to stand behind what they sell, I’ll stay away from BestBuy.

Oven looks great but it takes forever to pre-heat.

told the salesman I did not want a convection oven and the one we bought came with it....the timer is so quiet you cannot hear it unless you are standing right by and both lights are on no matter which over you are using. should have waited for the ge cafe to come back in stock.

We went from a thermador to kitchenaid. Not as many options. 2 weeks and still has horrible new oven smell. It's taking time to get used to.

Beautiful double wall oven, inside and out! It's great because the convection settings are smarter than I am!

I've had this brand of double oven for 15 years and will continue to use it as long as quality continues to be good.

Bought this for my mom and she absolutely loves it.

The item was installed and the top oven never worked. Customer service has been horrible for this issue.

BEST BUY DELIVERED A DOUBLE WALL OVEN WITH A DENT SO BIG THAT THE DELIVERY PERSON WOULD HAVE HAD TO HAVE BEEN BLIND TO MISS IT. NO NEW APPLIANCE WAS EVER RECEIVED AND BEST BUY EVEN NO-SHOWED THEIR APPOINTMENT TO PICK UP THE DAMAGED ITEM. SHOCKED THAT BEST BUY IS STILL IN BUSINESS AFTER THE EXPERIENCE WE'VE HAD WITH THEM.

October 2015, after moving into a new home, I decided to update my old GE cooktop, double oven, and microwave. Kitchen Aid was having a great promotion at the time, along with most other high end appliance companies and I was having a hard time deciding on the best brand to purchase. Of course, the more appliances you buy, the better the rebate. The last home I lived in I purchased Thermador appliances and was mostly happy with them, but this time around I thought, "is Thermador worth the extra $2-3K more?" Both KitchenAid and Thermador looked very similar, stainless steel, rolled bar handles, digital display. In the past I didn't think KitchenAid looked high end, but with this new line it definitely was a competitor. I even liked the blue oven interior (which they mirrored after Wolf). I decided to go with KitchenAid in the end and now I come to my review of the oven: I have been very happy with this oven from KitchenAid. I have owned it for several months and have cooked many dinners in it. The overall look is great. The blue interior, the rolled handles, and shiny stainless steel exterior (on a side note, the outside is magnetic! I can attach my thermometer to it). It looks just like the higher end manufacturers. Performance wise, it has done well. Recently I had some food overflow and I used the self clean function. It worked well, but in the future I think I will not use it. I had recently read how using this feature can hurt your oven and lead to future problems because of the high heat that is generated. When I did use the self clean, it got so smoky inside the oven it coated the glass and made it look dirty. Plus, the fumes were bad. My advice is to forgo the clean function and use a paste of baking soda and water, coat the oven and let it sit overnight and wipe in the morning. I also used this paste on the oven window and got it back to looking brand new again. Took a little elbow grease to get the film of smoky air off the glass, but it worked great. I also like how you can turn the "beep" off on the oven. My last oven(Thermador) was loud every time I pushed the control buttons and I had no control over it, but with this Kitchen Aid, there are more features. On another note, I purchased an extended warranty through BestBuy on this oven. I did read several bad reviews about this oven which made me have some concerns, but I thought in the end an oven is an oven and they all do the same thing. What makes them different is size and look. I felt this oven had the same look and size as other high end models. Why should I pay $1-2K more? So I purchased an extended warranty instead. I hope I don't have to use it, but if I do end up with a lemon, at least I am protected for 5 years instead of 1.

Stay away. The paint melted from the heat in the oven and turned the glass black. Now the inside has black paint chips floating around and is unusable. This is my second review because I just spoke to Whirlpool/Kitchen Aid and they are going to potentially charge me for someone just to look at it.

Oven doesn’t work properly. Took two weeks for a service tech. The past needed was not available. Still not fixed. Now a month.

I am still learning how to use them but I do not know how I lived without them. I am a cook! I can't believe I did not upgrade by oven a long time ago. I am a Kitchen Aid fan for sure.
