Heavy weight paper but smears

However, the print quality of the paper LOOKED great but the ink would not dry. Everything smeared no matter how long I let it sit to dry. Perhaps printer setting changes would help. I just used Canon photo paper and had no problems with drying or smearing. I will not use the remainder of the pack over 75 sheets left.
