I recently used Kodak and HP photo papers for a large project -- a surprise birthday banquet with 3-panel photo displays, and a companion 100 page scrapbook. To populate both, I printed 4X6 and 8X10 prints from Jpeg computer files. I quickly discovered that Kodak papers produced higher quality images, with better ink absorption and -- as a result -- little or no smudging. As an added bonus, the Kodak sheets were more flexible than HP sheets. They worked better in my computer printer (ironically built by HP!). So I rate Kodak photo paper distinctively better than the competition.

I had been looking all over town for the perfect material to download a printable PDF for a high-end birthday party that fell into my lap when I came across different grades of photo paper. I had ran into Walmart and tried a brand but the paper smeared and was too expensive to be wasting time and money on, on my way to pick up a party piece I saw best buy had a pack of paper online so I stopped by the store to pick it up. Soooo glad I did, I made the event and took it to a higher level!! I'm ever so grateful. Will continue to look at other productss Best Buy stocks!!!

the paper i purchased was a little light guage for some of the restoration work i do on older photo's for general photo printing it is addiquit seems to take the ink well and dry's quickly the quality of photo's has been bright and sharp for general duty i would use it again. and it may be that Kodak has a heavier weight paper that best buy did not stock. i will see over time if the black and white photo's i am processing for my family's genealogy hold up as well as the heavier wt. pa[er i have been using

purchased this paper because it was 100 in a pack and on sale. I like it, not real glossy, but you can tell which side is glossy and which is not (front or back). I plan on buying more since I have been thru most of it in 3 weeks time. I'm satisfied with the quality of the print . I also use decoupage and polyurethane on them on projects and it does not smear, so i'm happy.

I wanted to make some name tags and wanted the color to stand out on the page instead of being adsorbed by the paper. This paper was great! The ink didn't wash out when printed. Paper is light enough that it can be used for multiple things, not just photos. I recommend purchasing this paper for those special projects, and it will save money over purchase of photo paper, but still gives nice glossy finish.

Great for scrapbooking, record shots, family card suffers and photo albums. Solid predictable color rendition but a little thin for the pro or serious hobbyist and not as glossy as some would like. In my house with just one grandchild 100 sheet goes out there with amazing speed. 3 stars when compare to pricy imported papers and nice to see the Kodak emblem alive at least.

I do not know the difference between good and excellent photo paper. Hence I choose to say 'Good' quality because what I have printed on it exceeded my expectations. I did not compare prices yet I trust Best Buy 'fairly' priced this type of product. Over the past 20 years I believe they have priced their products competitively.

I went to get some photo paper, I don't use a lot but I had run out. Best Buy had 3 different sizes and I was about to get the smallest quantity but noticed the savings by getting the 100 pack and that's what I got. It will probably last 5 years, but what the heck I got a good deal.
