Had house guests that kept losing keys, this was a perfect solution

If you don’t want to use keys anymore. Get this lock!!

The lock works. The lock works for touch. To get it to work with Alexa, as advertised, you have to purchase a $99 Kēvo Plus application.

Great lock i would recommend this to a friend and my family.

I was really excited to have a smart deadbolt and not carry keys around anymore. Installation is relatively easy. Unfortunately, it rarely ever unlocks unless I open the app and unlock from the app. The app crashes every single time I open it. It’s only saving grace is that it does accept a real key which I needed once so far when the app completely failed to work and luckily I wasn’t locked out because I keep the real key in my car. Very disappointed.

Love not having to carry my keys with me when I walk.

I really wanted this to work. It was a long install process, and the device at first wouldn't recognize my WIFi. once it finally found it, the app required an update/sync with the device. The two never could find each other. the touch portion would turn colors and the lock would sometimes engage on its own. Calls to customer service at KwikSet were impossible on a weekend. I lived with an expensive lock that only worked with a key for 2 weeks and then I returned it. Went with a less high tech keypad instead. Best buy did not respond after my initial complaint about this experience.

I have purchased tons of smart home wifi items in the past few years, this is the worst item I have ever purchased. If your deadbolt catches in the slightest bit this item will not work, that's a bad thing for anyone who lives in a climate that varies 100 plus degrees throughout the year. It may work in the summer and not work in the winter until you adjust it. The app is slow and works about 50% of the time. I have google fiber and a Linksys Velop router, so I know it isn't my equipment. WORTHLESS!

I installed it no problem then I went to install the app and found out it only is compatible with 3 phones Apple, Samsung, HTC, and the wearables

The product was awesome at first but then within 6 months the dial would spin and spin and not unlock the deadbolt.

I had to return the Kevo smart lock because I just could not stand the bugs in the app. It was so frustrating dealing with all of the error messages and I got fed up with dealing with the issues and trying to deal with tech support. I decided to go with the August Smart Lock instead and boy was it a night and day difference in quality and ease of use/installation!

I could not connect more than one person at a time in the app. I could not get the two others to connect if I was logged in.

I wanted a door lock to be able to unlock remotely and/or keypad to give someone a temporary code, this has neither only has Bluetooth communication hence only able to unlock with NFC or the key which defeats the purpose of a smart lock, at least in my opinion, at that price point I would rather get a traditional mechanical lock with almost the same functionality.

Will not work with android devices. Seems to work well with apple. If they'd fix that i give it 5 stars.

This lock is super slow to react and Kevo Plus is even slower! App is very buggy too. Stay away!

The first lock we ordered online...motor didn't work according to manufacturer. They sent us a replacement..worked for about a day and stopped working as well. The day it worked...was very hard to get to open and close like we wanted with our phones. Decided this wasn't the product for us.

This lock locks and unlocks by itself, without anyone ever touching it. Can be sitting in living room down the hall from door and can hear it locking and unlocking. Not very safe. Do not recommend this product.
