He wants an ipad, but as a 5 yr old kid, i think ipad is very expensive for him yet. I ended buying this leap pad. I bought the open box which is lesser, and it turns out to be very fine, just like brand new. Now my grandson is loving his leap pad.

The apps are a little pricey, but he's had fun with the free ones. I would advise every parent or grandparent to turn on the parental controls that control access to purchases.
