I wanted to love it. Big beautiful screen, decent battery, clean looking. Unfortunately I returned it. It’s bulky, ergonomics aren’t great for me, lack of VRR. The software is very clunky and slow. I love Lenovo products but in my honest opinion I’d look towards either the ROG Ally or steamdeck on this one.

The Legion Go surpassed all my expectations, this thing is powerful and a lot of fun. I was in the market for a small laptop that I could also game with on the go since I travel often. I was looking at the ASUS Rog Ally but once I saw the huge screen on the Legion Go I was set. Specs wise the 2 are identical except for the 8.8in screen on the legion. Lenovo has a lot of support for this thing and all the updates have made this machine simple the best. When the manufacturers support their customers and listen to request, its easy to put your faith on that Brand. Lenovo knocked it out of the park.

Big beautiful display, solid build quality, enabling integer scaling makes ganes look absolutely amazing with decent frames. Biggest complaint is battery life.

After 4 weeks I am very happy with Lenovo Go. Great device for a portable unit. Plays most games very well. Few high end AAA need to have fps reduced. The controllers are so much better than Switch. But they do “bite” into palm during long play sessions. Bought the 512 version and upgraded to 2TB right out of box. Very glad I did this. I have more than 1TB of stuff loaded onto system.

At home I run the games off my pc and get crazy battery life by streaming over my network to the Go. Playing games at max settings on the 8.8 inch 144hz 1600p screen is breathtaking. On the go its still very good play most games very well at 1200p 60+fps and having decent battery life at 25W power setting. Highly suggest you give it a shot. The biggest complaint people have is the lack of VRR but I never even noticed a difference.

I love my legion go. One of the controllers had an issue which is a little discouraging but after troubleshooting with Lenovo I was sent a new one and didn't have any more problems with it. The stand is amazing, it's great having a track pad. Screen is beautiful, well worth the price tag.

Really nice device. Screen is huge and colors are great. The device itself feels really nice to hold, and the detachable controllers and mouse mode is insanely cool. There are a few bugs with the software, but its a brand new device for lenovo in this space, so i think it will get better it the coming weeks. All the negative reviews here are from not recieving it on launch day which is unfortunate, but not the fault of Lenovo or the Legion Go so those reviews are pretty much invalid to the product. I recommend this thing!

The go has a great display and overall the build quality comes off premium. To me its the almost made it device. I wanted to like it so badly but there were 2 major issues with the multiple units i got. They have a very loud whistle/whine coming from the fans. Im fine with fan noise but a constant hugh pitch sound really gave me a massive headache. Want to download a game be ready to walk away because that whistle is going to be there the entire time of the download. The other major issue is the software is so bad. It really is sad to see a product launch with software this bad. This is of course something that can inprove with time but considering the software it launched with was shown 2 months before launch and has not changed at all it does not give me a bunch of confidence to hold onto the device and wait around to find out if it actually improves. I guess there is 1 more big issue. Button placement is terrible. I was pressing buttons without trying to just holding the device. Its obvious they focused these buttons around the FPS mode which is just a terrible idea for a handheld device.

I love my LegionGo. I bought mine the week before Thanksgiving. Playing on it almost daily since (it is early January writing this). Controls are great, screen is sharp. 90 minutes - 2 hours continuous run time. Easy to play while plugged in

This little handheld gaming computer packs some serious punch. I'm glad I got it later for them to iron out at least a few of the kinks. I haven't had many issues that would warrant me wanting to return the device.
The sound isn't bad for the size at all. Tolerable.
Gaming takes some tweaks depending on the game you're playing. I usually set everything to 1080p and 60fps capped. Same when docking it to my tv. It handles quite a few newer titles even if only on low to medium settings. Fine by me! I like having a computer that isn't a backbreaker to lug around.
I will warn the casual user though this will take someone who enjoys fiddling with settings for a while to get things smooth. And even then you'll get the occasional game that just gets whacky changing graphical settings or just wont have it.
But I tested with quite a few games I had including indies, AAA's and emulations. All worked fine enough for me.
The screen is great, the build quality is good. The touch screen makes life super easy as the track pad is functional... but small.
Grab it on a sale! I got an open box for about 200$ off.

Have had the device since day one. It has come a long way. Really enjoy be able to play games on the go as I am a truck driver. Being a gaming laptop purchaser in the past the Legion Go has been a blessing. The screen size is perfect and having the software is really come a long way since release.

this has been great so far. i have no issues with it. controllers are great screen is great cause of the large size. does not have vrr. which would have been nice. but the memory card reader is not broken like the ally unit with the over hearting issue. so hardware is great but software needs alot of work. but that will come with time i have using it and loving it. RDR2 is giving me about 50fps on it and love it. have replaced it with a 2tb m.2 super easy.

This thing is incredible! Even with the Steam version recently released this device IMO is better. I currently run both Windows and Bazzite (SteamOS basically) in a dual boot manner. I utilize the Windows partition for any anti cheat games and any other games I own that cant run through Bazzite. Nintendo is so far behind the 8ball on power, even the Switch 2 doesnt feel impressive as far as power is concerned. Sure i cant play Mario, Zelda or Mario Kart, but the trade off is worth it.

I’ve been a console gamer since I was a kid and this is my fist dip into pc gaming. The download speed is at least DOUBLE what my Xbox series X can do, the 8.8 screen is huge and VERY nice, and it can play all the games I have on my series X smoothly on low settings!!! I was worried a little about it being too much with windows but Legion space makes it as quick and easy as using my console. The legion go has blown me away and is definitely worth it if you want a handheld console experience, with the bonus of having a computer in the background that can do anything a normal computer can!
