[Employee of bestbuy] I bought this sometimes i don’t feel sitting at my gaming chair and just wanna be in my bef and it has worked wonders for me. I havent had any performace issues other then 1 game ( The Medium) and thats only because it is bery gpu intensive and i don’t believe its optimized to well but other then that games like lies of p and final fantasy crisis integrated have run perfectly. Its really nice to have on the go to espcially in a school environment for me since when im done with a class and just want to chill without having to go all the way to the gaming center…. Just sit in the nearest comfy chaai and just relax. People seem to forget its a regular pc to so often i will have a game with spotify in the background or even just watch youtube or netflix on there. Definitely worth the purchase in my opinion and from my experience. Before i forget to amazing build quality. The joycons dont feel loose at all in my two plus months of usage

I have use this for the last year, It is a fantastic hand held gaming PC. It works great Here are some pros and Cons Pros: It's CPU is fast The iGPU is fairly powerful in fact at the time it was the most powerful. Its easy to upgrade the Storage on this. IT has a built in mouse and touch pad. Screen Is a touch screen. Cons It only has 16gb of Ram and that is shared with the iGPU it would have been nice if it has say 24 GB or better yet 32GB of ram. The screen is nice, but it isn't an OLED. It still looks good though. Overall This is a great device even today if you can get it for around 500-600 bucks.

This is a great "handheld gaming pc", especially for travelers. As a truck driver who sits all day, the last thing I want to do is sit up and play on a gaming laptop. With the Legion Go, I can lay down and rest my back while being able to game and unwind. The screen is large enough that you can also use this as a screen for watching movies and tv shows. My favorite part about the Legion Go is the detachable remotes. In this way, your hands arms and shoulders are not locked in an fixed and eventually uncomfortable position. You can use the built in kickstand or mount the tablet and still play games with your arms resting by your side. Many people like to compare this device to others, wondering which is the "best" device. Well, you should inherently know which device has the best features for your own personal use case scenario. For me, this device hits the most marks. Did I mention there are TWO full speed usb-c ports? So you can charge the device while also having peripherals plugged in. Amazing!

Rating: 4/5 The Lenovo Legion Go is a powerful gaming handheld that offers an immersive experience with its 8.8” WQXGA display and smooth 144Hz refresh rate. The AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme chip and 16GB of RAM provide excellent performance for most games, and the 512GB SSD gives plenty of storage. However, there are a few drawbacks. The battery life could be better—during intense gaming sessions, it drains quicker than expected. Performance-wise, while most games run well, some AAA titles push the system to its limits, and you’ll notice occasional stutters. The user interface is also a bit buggy and could use some refinement. I ran into issues with responsiveness and navigation at times. Overall, it’s a great device for gaming on the go, but there’s room for improvement in battery and UI polish.

    * Amazing Display * Steam Deck is still the comfort King in handhelds (the shape of the bottom edges of the Legion Go can "dig" into the palms of your hands if you hold too tightly.) * Speakers aren't the best * Controllers feel a bit cheap and hollow when detached * Legion Space NEEDS a lot of refinement * Battery life is a touch better when playing demanding games * Windows 11 is Windows 11 (good and bad) * MicroSD card reader works! * Fan noise can bother some people * Cooling is very good * Easily upgradeable SSD * Button placement of start/pause is just plain stupid * Not as heavy as I imagined (Deck inside Killswitch case "feels" heavier) * FPS Mode is just too complicated and gimmicky to me (YMMV) * Great value (Lenovo packed it well with nice case and SSD)

This handheld is the must purchase for every single person at this point. The console has the capacity to emulate majority of games with wonderful FPS. The weight and form is perfect for you to spend hours and hours on it without feeling tired. Honestly I can say without any doubt that it could replace my Xbox or ps5 including my gaming laptop at most. I can do homework’s , pay bills and even watch my favorite shows. I cannot wait for the future of Lenovo . 10/10

Big, beautiful screen, I rate this better than the Lego S. However, need tinkering to get the best performance out of this console. Windows still not the best for playing games on the go but on the upside best game compatibility. Another plus, I feel like the console really shine when emulating NS.

Screen size is awesome, big and vibrant!! The kickstand on the back is very convenient. The battery life is not great and it takes time to get it setup just right for gaming. I’m not to computer savvy so it was frustrating at first but YouTube videos help tremendously. Ergonomics, this thing is HUGE!! It has a lot of buttons and you can remove the controllers but that’s not my thing. The weight didn’t bother me at all. Overall very fun to play!!

Good but not great! the screen size is incredible however the lack of vrr i noticed quite a lot of hitching between frame drops in games such as destiny 2 and overwatch 2. using vsync helps but increases latency. I still love the giant screen compared to others like the steamdeck and ally. The biggest issue currently is the software, its garbage utter garbage! Its unresponive, it crashes, its clunky, its not user friendly and games are contastly crashing with no new updates for the system right now. the fps mode is cool but it needs replacement sliders for the mouse and it scratches a lot of the time on the edge of the adpater mold for the controller. overall cool but needs more going for it. also, one last thing is the dpad is utter trash. good range for left ot right but up and down is less responsive and the clips for taking the controllers on and off feel like your breaking the controllers.

10/10 I absolutely love this. One of if not my best purchase, If you wanna play your PC games on the go this is perfect don't get me wrong, the battery life is pretty bad but you can plug and play it, or even dock it and use the detachable controllers separately. (I am still yet to find out how much battery they have, but it'll last you at least a day)

Honestly an excellent handheld gaming computer. Awesome screen, decent enough controllers, okay enough sound. The biggest problem is Windows, but that can be remedied by installing something like Bazzite or hopefully SteamOS happens. Windows just isn't meant for this kinda form factor, despite Lenovo trying to shoehorn it into working with their software.

This device is great. It’s a big handheld, screen is great, and it could turn into a mini tablet, so very versatile. However the vibration motors are very bad. When doing certaint things, such as shooting a shotgun in a game, the motors make a high pitched vibration sound. Very annoying. The controllers feel very hollow as well, when taken off the legion go. The audio is very bad as well. Top firing speakers, they should have been in the front. Some games are playable, but others are unbearable. The frequency feels like it’s piercing your eardrums. The device can also get very loud when using the max power usage. 25/30 watts will not be suitable for quit environments. 20 and below those is manageable. I really liked the device but one of the biggest draw backs is lack of compatibility with old games. My old Star Wars games wouldn’t open, neither would my gta trilogy. I’m sure with resolutions mods on gta, it would have worked but I didn’t want to do that. This may have to do with the display being made for portrait view and not landscape. It’s a good device but I’d say get it around Black Friday sales, when the device is $550 or lower. Then is the device worth it. At its MSRP, it’s not.

I was in a market for a windows based mobile gaming console. There were ones from other companies but i decide to go with legion go because of the big screen, detached controllers, and the price was 400. Better value than others This gaming device does what i wanted to do. Cons: much heavier than a switch by big margin. Overall, i like the legion go and got it when it was on sale.

The device creates a lot of heat and noise. Feels more like a shrunk down gaming PC rather than an actual handheld PC. The display is beautiful, but the device is underpowered to drive it at full resolution even for the simplest of games. It shows promise but it needs more time in the oven.

I bought the Go the day it was released. I then spent the next week and a half battling with the half-baked software, frequent system freezing (Windows would become non-responsive and the only way to restart was a hard reset), loud fans that ran no matter the power setting or whether I was trying to game or just leaving the device idle, not to mention trying to Jedi mind trick myself into not hearing the high pitched coil whine-like wine from the fans, and a battery that wouldn't last more than 1.5 hours when playing older titles and retro games (less the one time I tried NieR: Automata). Factory reseting the device didn't help. If you are planning on buying this, some advice: 1) seriously consider an OLED Steamdeck for less $$ and far better stability: 2) Yes, thr detachable controllers are cool on paper but in real world use they're difficult to detach, can get wobbly after about a week of detaching/reattaching, and it is difficult to get used to hold the device with your fingers always resting on buttons; 3) don't plan to have a good graphics experience if you connect this to an external display or, in my case, a pair of xreal air AR glasses - in order to get modern games running, you have to turn down almost every quality setting to get them to look okay on the 800p built-in display but once you see them on a larger screen it is not a quality graphics experience; 4) if you are dead set on buying this anyway, maybe wait a little while for Lenovo to update the BIOS and software and try to fix their Legion Space games launcher -- you will have a better experience than I did and, as an added bonus, by waiting you'll probably be able to buy an open box unit from Best Buy.
