It’s good but its not for me but my wife love the game

We enjoy Skylanders at my house and have had some fun playing Disney Infinity as well. We were drawn into to Lego Dimmensions by the cool character line up like Scooby Doo and Adventure Time, but we don't play it near as much as we do the Skylander's series. Bummer.

Not useful, we took and found not user friendly to play.

A typical Lego game, but supersized. You don't need the packs to play, but that would render Dimensions just another Lego game, so getting at least one of the Level packs are recommended. The characters included here represent LOTR, DC Universe and Lego movie, so I would pick the packs that open the worlds not included.

Now that's a lot of exclamation points! My son got this for Christmas yesterday and I can't rave enough about it. He's not just zoned out on a video game, he's actually having to take the time to follow the on screen instructions and build the portal/characters/vehicles. I even think there's a part in the game where you have to take the vehicle apart and rebuild it a different way. What a great interactive video game!

Great use of the Lego genre and adding the figures is super fun. Plenty of value in the base set. Only drawback is the instructions for everything but the portal are in the game. You have to unlock the extra sets too, which can be frustrating for younger kids.

Like pretty much all Lego games, Lego Dimensions is very fun. It is especially delightful to do things like drive the Batmobile around Middle Earth with Bart Simpson behind the wheel. At the same time, if you want to get the full experience with this game, by which I mean the ability to play as characters beyond the 3 who come with the game (Batman, Gandfalf, and Wyld Style), you have to go buy physical toys and bring them into the game. Sure, it's fun to play as the Doctor or a Ghostbuster in worlds very different from their own, but is it worth $15-30 every time you want to use a new character? No. It's especially not worth it when you consider than in previous Lego games (and subsequent Lego games, for that matter, with the latest Star Wars that just came out), one need only acquire new characters with the studs you collect throughout the game, certainly not by spending hundreds, and perhaps thousands of dollars, to buy additional toys.

Tons of gameplay througout many different worlds. Mashup to the max! Love all the old school characters. Best part about getting it for wii u is there is no split screen during multiplayer as the gamepad screen is used.

Second best LEGO game out today, behind Lego Marvel. Lots of great humor in the game and fun gameplay. My one gripe is that one of the things I enjoy about the Lego games is unlocking all the characters, you dont do that here because you have to buy every character.

I really liked the idea of combining different universes from The Simpsons, Doctor Who, Lego Movie, etc. in a single game which has lot of activities and world to explore. Cons: You need to buy "packs" to play those characters and worlds and they're not really cheap at all.

Very interactive game for family fun. My 4 year old and I play it all the time.

Lego Dimensions is fun to play but very expensive for what you get. It is really just a Lego video game like the others before, but you also have to buy the physical Legos to play it. The game play is very similar to previous Lego games but not very deep, lots of smashing things and collecting studs and bricks.

this is a fun game. yes the main story mode can be completed within a couple of days but there are other lego dimension packs out there that lets you play new missions.

It's basically a normal LEGO game - except that is much more expensive and terrible to play. Throughout the game, you must stop and move the mini figures around the gateway. This is terrible, as it interrupts the flow of the game constantly.

Bought this for my son who is just getting into video games and loves Legos. This is such a neat idea and my son has absolutely loved it. I like the fact that it is expandable with new sets and that he can build and play.

I got this for my son for his birthday and he loves it. The fact that it has the Legos also for them to put together give them extra play time. The Lego assembly is a bit time consuming though.

Really fun! And you can’t beat the price I got it for.
